Some of the rooms on the fifth floor (like around 5726) are further away from the lounge than the deluxe club level rooms on the other floors.
LOL...that was our room a couple of weeks ago. It's a standard view standard CL room with a king bed and two standing balconies since it's at the corner of the building...and by standard view, they really do mean lousy view.
We overlooked roof and bus stop on one side and the YC dumpsters and loading docks on the other. Can't see it with the sheers pulled across the windows, though, and the room is huge, so that was great.
We were at the very end of the hall, the absolute farthest from the lounge you could be, but it was really only a couple of minutes' walk. Would have been nicer to be closer to the lounge, but our priority was the king bed, so we were content with it.
I've got pics of the view somewhere that I'll try to post so people can get an idea of what "standard" means in terms of view. In the meantime, if view is a priority, book garden view not standard.
