What silly thing do you look forward to the most when heading to the World?

DH and I leave in just 3 days for WDW :woohoo: and I realized this morning that we are going to get to enjoy one of my favorite things there. The wake up call!! I love when the characters wake me up for a day at the parks. My favorite is the Stitch, "Good morning! No SLEEPING!!!" one. I'm smiling just thinking about it.

So what is your silly thing that gets you grinning just thinking about it as you get closer to your trip?

My friend and I will start saying this, as we get closer to the trip:

"Here at Epcot, we're growing wheatgrass for NASA.". And when that moment arrives, we're practically falling out of the boat with laughter.

I love being silly. DH said "Who cares, it's not like you're going to see these people again!". Ex: The other day on the People Mover (one of DD's faves), we'd raise our hands and "WHOOOOOOOOOO" really loud at the other cars going by. Only one did it back. LOL

When we arrive at POP, the stroll to the building we are in. I love the music, and the smell. It makes me skip along the sidewalk. :rotfl2:
Can't help it. And if "Dancin' Machine" by the Jackson's is playing....OH WATCH out!!!!! :cool1:

I love the Magical Express movie: the one that they play on the way to the resort. It just makes me feel like we are FINALLY here!
Too bad I don't get to watch it again til Sept 2011.....:(

Getting off the ME bus at POR and hearing the motor chugging from the water taxi coming up to the marina. I stand outside and wait for it.

Every now and then, a guest services person would ask me if I am lost and need directions, and I tell them why I am standing there. We always have a good laugh.

It just means that I am home again!

I love this!

When we land in Orlando me and my best friend always look at each other and say "We're Home".....

When you enter the resort to check in and they say Welcome home and turkey leg and dole whip.
Ok, Everything Disney gives me goosebumps right now. My son is home sick from school and we are listening to Disney party music while I cook him homemade chicken soup.

I'm with you on this one. :thumbsup2

Also, my girlfriend has a habbit of tripping over air between the time we land and the time we get to the ME, usually in front of lots of people. So, yeah, I look foward to that, too.

The voice of the "official WDW narrator" - love to hear him on ME, the buses and monorails.

The music in Epcot!

We usually have a car when we are in WDW so as we drive under the Walt Disney World sign we raise our hands in the air and scream (not me, I'm driving...but I still scream).

The ambient music in future world! Drinking Smart Watermelon, and then riding The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Those manatees are our favorite part of Disney. I cried when I got there last time and found out that Kringle had finally been set free.

Does anyone know if Lou (the one with no tail fin) is still there?

I know this is silly, but my DH and I always repeat the monorail instructions in spanish which tell you to stand clear of the doors. And when I hear it I get emotional. I also LOVE when they say "Welcome home" when you arrive at check-in, it used to be only as DVC members now they all say it!

The first silly thing I look foward to is the 'feel' of Florida.
But my most silly thing I look forward to is the music of Main Street and Epcot as you enter both parks.

I also love to hear the "por favor mantenganos a los manos....." on the monorail

My family and I do the same thing!

Wow, some great ones here! I thought of another one...DH and I play a game where we try to be the first one to spot a billboard for Disney and then the first the spot a road sign for Disney. It's a silly game, but we play in both in Florida and California.

first off, I like the tram in the orlando airport getting to the luggage pick up. i love the disney display in the middle of the airport. and i love waiting at the magical express check in. (this only applies to our first day though haha)

Then i LOVE riding the magical express bus. I love that movie. It's beautiful.

I love checking into the hotel! Especially if I've never stayed there before! It's more exciting that way.

i LOVE the Top 7 Must Sees at WDW channel at the hotels. I literally watch that 25 times each trip. I don't allow normal television to play in my room.

I LOVE the disney buses. I would rather take those than drive any day. Whether they're crowded or empty, I love them all just the same. I love trying to find the perfect seat in the back or with enough room for my family. And I think it's funny how my mom always ends up talking to the other guests and making friends. :rotfl:

The park music gets me every time- especially the Innoventions Plaza Music and the Music on Main Street USA.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority has a special place in my heart... Actually all of Tomorrowland does. I just love that place.

And i think my favorite thing of all has to be the smell of Pirates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain. It just makes me feel at home.

AHH i can't wait to goo

I love the look on my two dds' faces when they see the Castle... as if they have never seen it before and it is just the best, best, best thing ever.

I love that they love WDW as much as me. It makes me love it more that it makes them so happy!

This is so silly, but I actually look forward to the total Disney takeover of the hotel TVs. We actually like coming back to the room and having a glass of wine while watching Wizards of Waverly Place. I don't watch much of the nighttime Disney Channel shows at home, because my son usually watches that kind of thing in our bedroom while we're watching whatever in the living room.
