Delaware is having great weather right now. So I hope you enjoy it while you are here.

By the way, I forgot to mention we have the late dinner seating.

I do have one question. When we did our Holland America Panama Canal Cruise from
Ft Lauderdale. They told us at the park garage that since my husband was handicapped our parking was free. Nice surprise. Does anyone know if the same thing holds true for Port Canaveral? Either way, can't wait for the cruise.

Peg

Its Official! Paid off the cruise today! So happy to have that done with.

If anyone is going to see Candlelight, I hope to see you there as I am one of the Cast Choir this year!

Can't wait for the cruise!

Hi:wave2:
I think I have already been on here...posted our info and gotten on some of the lists, but I have no memory, LOL! It has been quite a rough patch of time with my health and my planning has been halted:eek: We are going to WDW for 2 weeks in 22 days.....but I realized that I have to get planning for this cruise too!
So, in case I haven't already...we are in an inside cabin....it will be myself (Kaylee) with my DH (Scott) and our DDs...Jaide (12) and Taylor (9 at time of sailing). We are so excited and are cruising with a few of our friends from the Magic Repo Cruise to LA from May '08.
I hope to be able to check in a bit more regularly, and please let me know if I need to get my name to anyone for FE or such.
The girls don't know about this cruise....but as I learned in the past, don't give them the cruise as a christmas present because it can backfire and leave the family in tears! We will probably just tell them as we are packing!!!

Look forward to meeting everyone and experiencing this cruise!

Pluto,

We will see you at the Candlight on the 29th of Dec. Can't wait, it is such a marvelous show.

Congrats on being part of the Cast Choir !!!

Peg

PegIra and fourcds--I have added you to the FE roster. Fourcds--just let me know your stateroom number and I will add that to the information. Thanks for joining the fun!

NO WAY, how cool. I wish I was going. I love that time of year at WDW.

Welcome to the newbies.

It's coming up fast! I'm in the process of planning the pre stay at WDW.

We will be doing a B2B and are going to move to a "Virtual" inside stateroom for the second cruise!

Hey Linda,

We're doing the opposite now. We just got a deal to upgrade to a 9A for the second Dream cruise for less $ than staying in the inside cabin. So we'll get to experience the "virtual" porthole and then the real thing! Don't know which cabin yet as we're GTY for the 9A.

Is there something we should be doing about the FE's. I have made lots of magnets, but never did a FE?

How were you notified of this upgrade deal? I would like to get the same deal on the 2/3/11 Dream cruise that I am booked on with an interior room. I hope you guys on the first two sailings share some info for the rest of us dream cruisers.

Can't wait to this cruise, I need it now!

We want to participate in the FE too!

See you soon!

I am so excited, I have paid off both cruises now!!! I am so ready to sail.

The FE is a set of pockets that hangs from the fish beside your stateroom door--you can make one yourself or buy one on Ebay. Then, the people who are participating in the FE activity will pass out little gifts (of their choice) by placing the gifts in the FE. This is my first time participating in the FE as well, so I'm very excited! :cool1:

There are a few threads about the FE, that will provide you with more information.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Hi,

We would love to have the lanyards and be part of anything that is going on. I am busy working on magnets for our door. We have a Handicapped Accessible Room #5552 and would love to be part of the tour also.

This is our 6th Disney Cruise (4 on the Magic, 1 on the Wonder). We just did a Holland America Panama Canal in April and while it was nice, we are so Disney, something was missing.(our only non-Disney cruise)

Our names are Ira and Peg Lunt from New Castle,Delaware. It is be just the two of us. In May we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary.

We are total Disney nuts. We are annual passholders and have decided for the first time ever to stay in Orlando for the winter. We are getting there on December 27th so we can see the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and see Disney while it is still decorated. Can hardly wait till we get there!!!!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone. If I left out anything, let me know.

Welcome! And Congrats on 51 years!

Can't wait for the cruise!

We will be there the first week of Dec, and I am sure we will hit at least one of the Candlelight Processionals! We just got tickets for MVMCP on Dec 2nd - anyone else going to that?

Have a great day all!

Closing the FE list is probably a good idea. Is a month out too far in advance? Should we close it earlier?

I think what I'll do, once the time gets closer (or earlier if people prefer---please let me know), that I'll post it. Then everyone can decide if they want to get with others, etc.

Speaking of posting the list, does anyone know if there's a way to import an Excel file? What would be the best way to post the list?

On my last cruise, our organizer set up a google document page that she gave us access to - then she posted the excel spreadsheet there. That worked well - we then saved a copy to our computer and made notes about gifts for different rooms and to make the labels for our gift bags.

Brag, brag!;) I just need to get on it. I don't know why I haven't yet. When is it due? I guess I will find out soon since we are adding WDW before. Kelsie will surely pester me.:rotfl2:

FE's use to be so simple. It seems like it gets more involved and more of a chore as the years go by.

Hi Peg-

Welcome aboard. I have seen you on various other threads I visit-for all the different magnets of course. I am totally addicted. On the Baltic I had enough magnets to change my door everyday.
Glad we'll get a chance to meet up.

Unfortunately you have to pay at Port Canaveral, unless they have changed it since October 2008, That was the last time my parents went with us on the cruise.

Have any other Platinum cruisers received info about reservaions for next week for dining etc?

I wanted to see if the Remy upcharge rumored on the boards is right

Thanks!

Thank you!! I'll get that going. I'm assuming I can update the google document page as I update the actual roster.
