I was going to go with Rosie on this trip, but due to Vet bills had to cancel. I'd told Rosie about a little tradition I have on my last night at MK - I give a balloon to little boy...in honor of my son (who unexpectedly returned to heaven too soon). I never say why to the little one of course, but say something simple to the parents...like my son always loved WDW as a child so I like to give a little one a Mickey balloon - nothing more.

Continuing on with my last night at MK !!!!

I was there to see Spectro !!! This is a favorite of mine !! I get all misty eyed every time !!!

I watch from Frontierland !!It is sooo much less crowded and I get a great view !!

Have to share a work story .. Today I showed my sweetie ( Dementia) my Hot Prints book !!! She looked at the pix of us at Dinner at The Wave and said "Oh Look It's my Birthday " "There I am and my Mom and my sister " I'm Happy" She carried the book around for hours !! Telling everyone about her PARTY!!!!

Yes Spectro is my favorite Parade !! I think I have seen it at least once every trip!!

You have to see it in September Liessa !! I am not so much into the day time parades , if I catch them I watch as I'm walking around but Spectro is sooooo beautiful!!

I know the book story was cute !! It is sad to see her mind soooo out there but she is so FUNNY in her confusion !! She is definately loved !! Another consumer who has a tendancy to be aggressive to many others !! She wil BOSS him around and her just smiles !!It is soo cute !!

Liesa, I am not into parades either (it is an ongoing joke with my friends and family that I go to WDW and avoid parades), but this one grew on me and it's fun to see. Well maybe that's is not quite truthful...the Electrical Parade grew on me....I hated it until they took it away and then missed it! With Spectro I learned to appreciate and enjoy it early on - the lights and music bring back memories of the first visits when my kids were 7 & 8.

I don't think Spectro has been replaced for good, it is my understanding that the Main St Electrical Parade is only in the Magic Kingdom this summer as part of the Summer Nightastic program.

I don't want Spectro to go away, but I wish they would extend the Electrical Parade. I saw it one time when I was in high school and I would love to see it again and for my kids to see it.
