Just so you guys who are AP know, I just talked to a wonderful CM who told me that since I am an AP and my SO is not to book in his name and add me when we arrive. That way I do not have to pay for the full 4-day ticket.

So we are booked for POR Standard room (1/18-1/25) for $924.12. :-D

My question would be: If the deal is not out and isn't suppose to start booking until Oct 1, how can they take your reservation?

I think it depends on who answers your call. The first time I called, the lady wouldn't do it without a code and she said codes would be out Wednesday. I called back and a really nice guy went ahead and applied the discount. I suspect they have the codes in the system. It's just how pickey they are about the rules.

Has anyone tried booking a NEW ressie with the deal? I'm wondering if they're just applying it to existing ressies at this point of if I can make a new ressie. I don't have anything booked.

I was just online pricing out and the chat window came up--she said there are no deals for 2010 right now but I should go ahead and book a package so that a discount could be applied if one comes out. Was that a hint to book and they will apply it?

YES! Room breaks down to around $97 and ticket at $240.

we had a great CM and a code was not required. Call and get another CM.

My comment on the "you need to book the 7 day dining plan" was in reference to the person who asked if you just needed to pay for the 4 day dining plan. No dining plan is required, but if you want one you pay for the 7 days.

i had no code...just called, told the CM my existing ressie #....she applied the 4/3 deal, and i was off the phone in about 5 minutes

I got thru on the phone in about 5 min. I asked for the 4/3 deal. She hasn't asked for a code yet. I'm on hold and I think she's cancelling my ressie. Okay, don't have to add dining, have up to 3 days before we arrive if we do want to add. I do have to do a split stay for Jan 2, no ticket yet, though we have 2 nonexpired we can use for that, and then the ressie will start on Jan 3 - 10 with tickets. She does not seem to need a code. But with two ressies have two deposits now. Still on the phone. I'm hoping there will be at least AAA, now, or eventually, that I can add to first room only night as it's holiday rate of 219!
Okay, so we got 4/3 applied now and we are all set! Pretty easy!

ETA: $1282 for 4/3 at CBR for 2 adult with tickets, if I add dining later which I might do, it would be 1870. Then I still have my first night room only at 246. I was at $1212 before with no tickets, just a AAA on all but the first Sat. Yay me!

I called to get it priced out - we aren't going until May but it is such a good rate we are considering going in Feb. POLY GV 2 adults (2 kids UNDER 3) for 8 nights with the basic dining plan regular MYW tickets with hopper option ONLY - they quoted me $3650.66. It took a while b.c the CM hadn't booked with the code yet - but put me on hold and was VERY nice. I told him I needed to think about it and to not change my May reservation yet. Tempting though. That is a BIG difference though (5100 and change to go in May). We were going in May for DD#2's 1st birthday - not sure if I want to go with a 9 month old though.

Woohoo!!!! Just upgraded our ressie from POFQ to the Poly with the 4/3 deal.

CM did say that the promo won't be released until Wednesday but if you call they can apply the promo today!!!!!!
