List november adr's here

Were you trying to get the Princess Storybook Breakfast or anytime at Akershus on Thanksgiving Day? We were hoping to go there as well and I don't make ADRs until Thursday. Oh well, Tutto's sounds like a great plan B to me as well.

Good news! I just called and got my reservation for Akershus for Thanksgiving Dinner! I actually had to guarantee the reservation with a credit card (just a guarantee and still 1 TS) and she called it "Akershus Thanksgiving Dinner with the Princesses." I am thrilled!

Did my ADR's this morning, here is what I got:

11/21 Tutto Italia
11/22 Yak & Yeti
11/23 Liberty Tree Tavern
11/24 Ohana-Dinner
11/25 Les Chefs France
11/26 Thanksgiving Breakfast at Ohana
11/26 Thanksgiving Dinner at Chef Mickey's
11/27 Coral Reef
11/28 Whispering Canyon Cafe
11/29 Le Cellier
11/30 My son's 8th Birthday, he does not know we are staying through his B-Day, it will be a surprise. We are eating breakfast at Tusker House and dinner at Garden Grill.
12/1 Probably just counter service all day. This is our last day at WDW.

Only problem I had was Thanksgiving dinner, I had to call and make that reservation, everything else went as planned online.

I wanted to try Teppan Edo, Restaurant Marakesh and The Wave, but would have to trade for a reservation that I already have. Would anybody trade one of these current reservations for one of those 3 restaurants.

We're done! got all the ones we wanted too.
Now before I list them, let me explain (because you're gonna say "Bayou is you crazy??")
  • We're on the DDXP
  • We have TWO count em TWO little girls b-days
  • A 13 year anniversary
  • And my mom, who has never stayed onsite and the only TS she ate at was Tony's back in '77. Top that with this will probly be her last trip to WDW ever, so I want to give her a total experience..

We tried the Wave last year and thought it was really good. I would switch WCC for the Wave. I would love to try Teppan Edo too, maybe next trip.

Is anyone else having trouble pulling up their Thanksgiving reservations on their My Vacation page? I have the rest but not Thanksgiving. Grrr. I already called to make sure it was still in the system since I needed to make a change to two of the other reservations. I am getting this response: E02020217100.

Congratulations! You'll have a great time. Wish me luck- don't make ADR's until Thursday. We arrive the day before Thanksgiving and DD4 thinks she needs to see the Princesses immediatley.

If I didn't care about taking my daughter on rides and to shows, I'd TOTALLY love your dining plan :lmao: Looks like you got a ton of great reservations!

You have to also understand that we use the TS times as other people would go back to their hotels. We go do stuff then we get to take a break, eat, talk about what we did already and what we still want to do. This way we can actually spend all day in the park and we aren't that tired or grumpy.

What can I say it works for me and Bayou and the kids.popcorn::

Sounds like SO much fun!!!

Looks like everyone is doing great with their choices! Hope this means the crowds will be low as expected (except Thanksgiving, of course!).

I cannot pull up my Thanksgiving Day ADR for Chef Mickey's on My Vacation either. I made all of the other ADRs online this morning at 6:00 am (and those all show up online), but the system would not let me book anything I tried for Thanksgiving Day. I called at 7:00 am and got what I wanted. Reassures me a little to know I am not the only one that has this issue.

On to the ADRs for our party of 3:

I got up at 4:45 am and stumbled to the computer for these babies, but WOW was I happy with what I got and I love the online ADR system!!!

Sat Nov 28: Tusker House (BF) 8:05a
Yak n Yeti (D) 6:15p

I am seriously sooooo excited about some of these ressies that I have tried to get in the past and never could!!!! Le Cellier dinner and a pre-opening Tusker House breakfast especially!!! I even got the times or close to the times I wanted. I have been so happy about this all day :yay:.

The only ADRS I wanted that I did not get were a Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package (all gone by the time I called at 7:00 am), could not get anything at T-Rex for lunch on our departure day Nov 30 (so I made an ADR for lunch on the 21st but hoping to change that to the 30th), and I really wanted to do Ohana on Sunday Nov 22 about 6:30 ish to 7:30ish and then head over to MK evening extra magic hours, but since Ohana wasn't available I decided to do Cali Grill that night and just watch Wishes from Cali Grill instead and then head on over to MK for a few hours of EMH.

I have a few questions for you guys:

This is my first time at Cali Grill. I was trying to time it so we could see Wishes, which is listed at 10:00 on Nov 22. The two choices I had were 7:40 or 8:55pm. I was clueless as to which would be best if we want to watch the fireworks and then still make it to MK sometime shortly thereafter (giving the non-resort guest a bit of time to thin out after Wishes ends). I picked the 8:55 because I was afraid if we ate earlier and then had to wait around for the observation deck viewing, my 8 year old would get restless and tired of waiting. Any thoughts as to which ADR times are best for a 10:00 pm Wishes (should I have gone with 7:40?) and also any estimates on how long we will be there from checkin to end of meal?

Love love love this thread. Now that I've made my ADR's I can't wait til November 20th!!!!!!!

I Got EXACTLY what I wanted!!!!! It wasn't fun being up at 0300, but we will be eating well!

**Saturday Nov 21- 'Ohana for 6:40 dinner
**Sunday Nov 22- le Cellier for noon lunch
**Monday Nov 23- Narcoossee's for 6:35 dinner
**Tuesday Nov 24- 50s PTC for 11:15 lunch
**Wednesday Nov 25- Crystal Palace for 11:45 lunch
(Thursday Nov 26- Beaches and Cream! Not an ADR, but it's where we'll be)
**Friday Nov 27- Cape May Breakfast 9:05 (BB afterwards!)
Cape May Cafe dinner 6:25 (we're gonna be Cape May happy- I tried doing most of our resort meals on our non-park days- it worked out well)
**Saturday Nov 28- Whispering Canyon dinner 6:10. This is DS's 12th birthday! I am hoping for a really fun experience for him. We've eaten here many times, and love it.

We'll still be in the World for a couple more days, but no more ADRs. Which is fine! There are plenty of counter service places we love too.

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Hey alice28, we are arriving on the 20th, we are from Bend, OR. We will be at WCC at 6:25 on the 28th, 15 mins after you. Yeah waking up for ADR's at 3:00am was kinda rough and not fun, but at least it is over now.

you might consider using some of those TS credits for lunches as well. They don't take as long, and are more casual food. We did that last trip b/c we didn't want to burn a lot of time. 4 more TS credits would mean a lot of nice lunches inside out of the weather, whatever it may be in Nov., or you could do a couple of signature restaurants for 2TS if you wanted.

I did just what you suggested! I didn't realize that option! Thanks so much! Originally, I was concerned about being at a certain part of the park at a certain time, but we are going to give it a try this trip, and see how it goes. We are in all of the parks 2 days, excl DS, but we usually do a TS in that park anyway. I think it will be a nice break for our weary legs each day! DH was thrilled! He didn't like my fuzzy math in trying to justify -- we are saving a little, but need to take in account the 3 missed meals. I was paying for the three TS meals, so we would have had 14 CS meals, and are now having 11 meals besides those three that were already planned, and we will have to take in account tips on the extra 4 sit downs we didn't have planned. I was already taking into account the tips on the 3 dinners, and also the entire Planet Hollywood meal on the first day at DD. We are also losing 28 snacks and our resort mugs.:rotfl: But, all in all, I am convinced it is a good idea for us. Thanks again!:flower3:

So, now I have:

Thurs, Nov 19 - Planet Hollywood / 6:45 dinner (had already)
Fri, Nov 20 - Chef Mickey / 6:30 dinner (had already)
Sat, Nov 21 - Coral Reef / 4:05 linner
Sun, Nov 22 - Mama Melrose / 3:50 linner, FDP (had already)
Mon, Nov 23 - Rose & Crown / 3:50 linner
Tues, Nov 24 - Tony's / 6:30 dinner
Wed, Nov 25 - Crystal Palace / 10:30 late breakfast (had already)
Thurs, Nov 26 - Tusker House / 11:30 lunch

HAHAHA! I thought we were the only ones to say "linner".

Whew, finally got everything booked :dance3: with everything we wanted (except 1900Park Fare; nothing for 24th or 25th from 5-8pm) -- online was a breeze, but had to call for Thanksgiving:

11/21 - Tutto Italia 6:05pm

11/22 - Donald's Safari Breakfast 8:15am

11/23 - Le Cellier 7:30pm

11/24 - Crystal Palace 8:10am
1900 Park Fare 5:35pm

11/25 - Kona 5:25pm

11/26 - '50s Prime Time 7:20pm

11/27 - Chef Mickey 9:30am

Nov. 3 - Akershus (Princess Dinner 5:05pm)
Nov. 4 - Tony's Town Sq. (6pm)
Nov. 5 - Chef Mickey's (7:55pm)
Nov. 6 - Yak & Yeti's (3pm)
Nov. 7 - Spirit of Aloha (category 2, 5:15pm)
Nov. 8 - Hollywood & Vine (4:55 pm)
Nov. 9 - Cape May Cafe (9:10am)

I just switched a few times on mine - there was a 6:50pm opening at Akershus, so I grabbed that. Gives us time to do stuff we want, go around the WS, maybe see the concert and then AFTER dinner, grab a seat somewhere for Illuminations.

Also, my H&V res was from when I thought I had the F! preferred seating. Since I don't have it after moving our trip week, I changed the time to 2:20pm so that we can go to the character lunch (my DD loves Little Einsteins).

Then I switched Yak & Yeti to 5pm, this way we can see the parade! I hadn't even thought of that before!

Here's my ADRs for Nov 21-28.
Nov. 21--Arrive late so no ADRs; probably DTD CS
Nov. 22--Cape May Cafe 5:40pm then off the MK for EMH
Nov. 23--Sci-Fi 5:35pm the Osbourne Lights
Nov. 24--Teppan Ado 5:50pm then Illuminations
Nov. 25--WCC 6:25pm
Nov. 26--Staying away from parks until dinner at Coral Reef at 6pm
Nov. 27--Tusker House BF at 8:05am then to Kili. Safaris, LeCellier at 6:50pm then to Candlelight Processional
Nov. 28--Leave early so no ADRs

Got all ADRs within 15 minutes of what I wanted. :cheer2:

11/21 Chef Mickey's (dinner)
11/22 T-Rex (dinner)
11/23 Sci-Fi (lunch)
Boma (dinner)
11/24 Ohana (dinner)
11/25 Corral Reef (lunch)

I had really wanted Marrakesh on 11/25 because DH really wanted to eat there... Corral Reef was plan B

11/21 - T-Rex (dinner)

Up at 4:45 this morning to makes these: :surfweb:

11/22 - Kona (breakfast)
Ohana (dinner) (it's never too much Polynesian!)

11/23 - Teappan Edo (lunch)
Le Cellier (dinner)

11/24 - Hollywood & Vine (breakfast)
Prime Time (lunch)

11/25 - CP (breakfast)
Ohana (dinner)

The only one I'm not happy with is my 8:25 Hollywood & Vine. We're only doing it for the extra boost it gives you at rope drop (so I've heard), so I'd like an earlier one. May actually drop this one if we can't get an earlier one. May also eventually drop our 8:05 CP too, as I hate to spend that much OOP for a breakfast! (and don't want the extra DDP to do it either).

One more early morning to make a Wishes cruise ressie and then I'm done!

:dance3:

Got all the ones I wanted!

11/16 Boatwrights 6pm
11/17 Le Cellier 4:30pm

11/22 Trails End 9pm
11/23 Hollywood & Vine 12pm
11/24 Ohana 6:10pm
11/25 Boma 9:30am

Driving up to Atlanta for Thanksgiving back on Nov 28
