Girl, I am in the same boat... I may be living vicariously through Jackie and Jordans PTR's!!!

Part of me wants to say, "sc--- it, we're going!!!!", part of me thinks it might not be a good time with moving and all. I have only ever cancelled one other vacation-Disney cruise- b/c we went to WDW 2x in a year. The second time was a hurrication and NOT planned, but very short. But enough to take from our cruise savings!

Jackie-LOVE your PTR!!! You all are too funny! You kids are growing up so beautiful -and handsome, too!

My dh thinks it is weird that I am excited for other people to go on vacation. He has never been to Disney yet and just doesn't "get it".

I love that you are sharing our excitement, but oh, no, why is your trip going to be delayed???

I just found out yesterday that my dh can not get the time off that our vacation is booked for so now we are looking at the week after Thanksgiving.

Agghh! What a thought! The day after tomorrow we are going to Disney! Wow!

Your last 2 updates were so great! I got tears in my eyes about The Waiting Place, then laughed at the kids in PJs and no make-up being allowed in The Waiting Place (good thing I'm in The Waiting Place as well ). All the fantastic pictures of Nobby. I laughed out loud at his ears and him hitting on the ladies.

There are some perks to being in the Waiting Place.

I like your "rules" as well. Good things to keep in mind for a magical trip!

Let's hope I can remember them when the time comes -- I tend to get a little nutty when we are there.

And thank you for the offer on the bags! If I knew Henry wasn't going to completely destroy it in less time than it takes for us to drive out of our neighborhood, I would take ya up on it! LOL

This is true -- toddlers are infamous for their destructive techniques.

The places you go is my favorite book!!! I cry everytime I read it. Another tear jerker is "Love you Always". I cry everytime I read that to Omicron.

Children's books are notorious for making me all teary-eyed.

Loved the gnome photos! That looks like a lot of fun. I thought about doing something like that and send the photos to my DH while we are waiting on him to join us. Like maybe a mini-him?

I am a dancin', packin' inferno today!!!

What a bummer! However, on the bright side, if you go the week after Thanksgiving, all the Christmas decorations will be up, and that will be even more magical!!!

Love, Love, love the gnome pictures. I will be looking for that gnome left and right, up and down. He is so famous, I must get his autograph! I am so excited for you .... leaving in 2 days. I wish there was a way I could leave on Saturday. I keep thinking.....hmmmm.....how can I leave early, but then I remember that DH would faint if he had to travel with 4 boys to disney himself. That would certainly do him in!

Today it is cool and rainy here. I can't believe my kids are done school and it is summer break! I will probably die of heat stroke when I get to WDW because I am so used to cooler weather.

OMG what a cute update! I love the gnome. Already he has me laughing. I see your DD collects the little character plush too. My kids love those. We have a quite a few now. Girl...no more waiting for days...you are down to the hours. Once it hits 72 hours and less.....you are on your way, and you have surpassed that! I'm so excited for ya'll! Your DS is just like mine. He'd live in his boxers if I'd let him. That kid hates clothes. Are you all set and ready to go? Sounds like it.

Sadly, no. We don't have a laptop, and my phone doesn't have the capability of posting anywhere.

I will post my itinerary tonight, so everyone that wants to can play the "Today CP and family are..." game.

Your weekend will fly by though and soon you will be having fun in Florida.

Pretty sure we are going to die of heat stroke as well -- it was rainy, rainy, rainy here today -- hopefully, it will be sunny down there this week.

Thanks! Chelsea loves getting a Minnie plush on each trip -- she has already decided that she wants to get the Minnie in her safari outfit on this trip since we are staying at AKL. Connor gets one every trip as well but he doesn't have any rhyme or reason to his choices -- just the ones he likes -- I think he has a Stitch, an Eeyore, and a Pirate Mickey somewhere.

Connor definitely dislikes shirts -- he always strips his shirt off as soon as we get home -- even in winter.

We are getting there on the being ready -- I have laundry going, I cleaned the house for the last time, and I have piles of things on the bedroom floor to be packed. I can't wait for Saturday morning!

Charles, the Road Trip Diva
So, Charles has been pretty well-behaved recently in regards to the upcoming trip. Tonight, however, he pulled out all the stops. I was going to head to Walmart to pick up some last-minute items including drinks for the trip and breakfast for Saturday morning. Well, suddenly he took on some alarming diva-like characteristics.

Charles: I don't want you to get drinks tonight. I want to get drinks at the gas station Saturday morning.

Me: Just tell me what you want and I will get it tonight.

Charles: They won't be chilled like they are at the gas station.

Me: We do have a refrigerator.

Charles: It's not the same. Besides I won't know what I want to drink until Saturday morning.

Me: Fine.

Charles: And I don't want you to get breakfast either.

Me: Why???

Charles: Because I want a biscuit.

Me: So, it's going to be like 7:00 before we even leave town???? (My voice may have been a little loud at this point.)

Charles: Not if we get up early.

Me:
