is there a difference between a child snack credit and an adult credit?

Check out this thread (page 1)

for a listing of all confirmed snacks. I scrolled through it very quickly and some of the spots where you can get a salad for a SC is: Sunshine Seasons in Epcot; Mara (food court) at AKL; Polynesian food court; POP food court; and All Star Music food court . I'm sure there are more places. :goodvibes

You'll see that there are alot of non-sweet choices to use your SC for. Fruit, carrots and celery, baked potato, etc.

Thank heavens! I'm about to slip into a diabetic coma just looking at all this sugar! My main reaction is - we already get a dessert with the CS and a dessert with the TS - this is overwhelming! I love pastry and baked goods, but yikes! This makes me wish 100X more than I already do, that appetizers could be substituted for dessert.

The Cappucino float! OMG! This thing is so good! We had a few of these during our stay!

Yep! During our Sept. trip we had the DxDP for 8 nights, thus 16 credits each. My DW had been working on figuring out which snack credit items she really wanted to try and was having trouble figuring out which were her 16 TOP choices. I was already going into sugar overload just from the discussion and only had about 10 sugary items on my list. However, when it came to actually eating the 32 snack credits we had between us...I think we shared about 10 sugary things and spent the rest on other choices.

LOL, I can just IMAGINE my kids plotting their snacks, once they find out that we're going (we're telling them on Christmas Day - they'll have just over a month to preview and drool).

But for me...well, ok, some baclava and a turnover, maybe that cheesecake up there in my last post.

But someone have mercy and post some more breakfasty-lunch type foods? We'll bring a few things to the room with us, but we'll be wanting to use snack credits for breakfast rather often, I think!

These are all from 2007, but I have TONS of snack photos!!!

Here's another view of the snacks from Goofy's Candy Company. We ate on these things for days.:rotfl2: We had one of the gingerbread Mickey's, one rice crispy Mickey and two sets of pretzels. The only thing I didn't care for was the gingerbread-just seemed kind of weird with chocolate:confused3 . DS sure ate it up though. Next trip I want to try the marshmallow on the straw.

Wow the next 4 days cant go by fast enough now that I found this thread!

Wow, I won't know where to start when we get to WDW. There are so many yummy looking snacks that you can get with snack credits. I will be sure to take my pants that stretch.:rotfl: :rotfl: More more

is there a difference between a child snack credit and an adult credit?

No difference. Adults and kid's snacks are the same.

Here's a few of ours-Sept 2008 (sorry if I already posted some of them)

I keep trying to make that out...it's a DDP with what is that, a little cup with a straw? That's the symbol for "snack?" What's the symbol for counter service?

These helpful pictures and tips will help me avoid being one of those annoying DDP people hesitating in line because they don't know how it all works!

What's the symbol for counter service?

I don't think there usually is one, but, I have seen a QS icon somewhere--can't think where.

The brochure (if they don't give you the current one at check-in, ask for it) lists all of the CS places on the DDP so you don't have to guess after that.
