Still needing the answer from the Mickey Cake from Chef Mickeys!
Thanks!

Gina

If you go to the first page of the thread at the very top, you will see the cake hotline number to call to order the cake. You have to do so 48 hours in advance. There is also on the first post the number directly to Chef Mickey's who can tell you about the different cake options. I am sure there are lots of cake choices, so I would call the restaurant directly or the cake hotline to see what they can offer or ask about what you want.

Would love opinions from you that have had cakes more than one place. My soon to be adopted daughters bday is during our Dec trip. I have not scheduled her dinner for her bday yet. We are spending the day at MK. Would love opinions about where the best Princess lover cake is to be had? This is a special celebration for us as it will be both her first trip to WDW, but also her first bday celebration with us. :)

Grand Floridian Bakery is probably one of the best with the most options. However, you have to be eating at a GF restaurant like 1900 Park Fare which is a character dinner with Cinderella, prince charming, and the stepsisters. You can pretty much design your own cake, if you want fruit filling or chocolate mousse or they make a ton of other fillings. If you want buttercream icing or pink fondant over top, Cinderella topper, mini white castle topper. The possibilities are endless.

You can see a pic of the mini castle topper if you go to pG 1 Post #10.

There is also an adorable Cinderella cake on page 1 Post #4!!

And there is also an adorable Pink Minnie cake, that I am sure you can get a princess instead of the minnie if you want on Page 236 post# 3527

Hope these options help!!

I ordered the cake for my friends daughter for next week. I called in room dining at the Yacht Club because we will be staying there. They are delivering it to Yachtsman's Steakhouse on the 28th so I will post pictures next week. They were very nice and called over to the bakery to confirm they could do it while I waited on hold. They only gave me the option of white, chocolate or marble cake with a few different fillings. I got a 10 inch marble cake with custard and strawberries. I asked for pink fondant, roses and hearts and a white chocolate Minnie Mouse. They said $85 but no DDE discount (I had them take down my number just in case.) They said it would be added to the YSH bill-I hope they can separate it out so I can pay for it.

Thanks for your info. Kind of funny the post you sent me to on the pink cake has my name on the cake. :rotfl: I think we are probably going to do 1900 Park Fare for her bday dinner the more I look around the more it looks like our best option.

You would be very happy with 1900 Park Fare, your oldest would have a blast!!!

I'm off to WDW!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your photo! Can you tell us about your cake? What was it made of? Was it delicious?

Sure! It was yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and was good but honestly the Boardwalk Bakery cake below I had last summer for DH's birthday was way better in taste! That could be because of it's size and price. Chocolate buttercream with yellow cake. yum!

My family (me, DH, DS11, DS11) will be staying 9 days this Nov. and will just happen to celebrate DH's 50th!!! This is our first trip to WDW in years...twin DS11 first ever! I just found this thread and wanted to ask you experts on suggestions for DH's special 50th b'day cake.
BTW, we'll be staying at POR. Thank you! :yay:

Bumping...need to make ADRs.
Thank you for your much needed advice!

Does anyone know if I can get the anniversary cake on page 2, (it's small with the cholocate banner "happy anniversary" to be picked up at the Boardwalk bakery?

Hello All!! I have been reading this thread for days, but i apologize if someone's already answered this! Who has had a cake at the Coral Reef and how much was it?? I am looking for something very small. Not a birthday, just a small surprise, plus it will be our last day, so bringing the leftover cake back to Kentucky, probably wouldnt work! :lmao: Anywho, im looking for ANY type of surprise here. Possibly the divers? Will they do that without a birthday? How about a tiny 6" cake??? Thanks! :thumbsup2

Tell me if this is good -- I ordered from the Boardwalk a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and the raspberry mousse -- too much chocolate? Does it get complimented by the mousse?

Thoughts from you cake experts would be much appreciated!
