I am great! The past few months have been long and challenging for my little guy, and dissing just wasn't in the cards. But, I'm planning another trip, so I must come join my DIS family again!!!

Sorry I have been MIA. Life has been uber busy. I haven't finished this report and I am so sorry. I have carved out my lunch break tomorrow to finish up and respond to everyone.

OMG, can you believe it’s been forevah and I am still not finished with this thing. Sorry!

Day 11, day of departure: We slept in as we knew we wouldn’t be heading to the parks. I packed up and then ate breakfast at the POR food court. Curious about how many credits we had left, I checked at the front desk. After breakfast we still had over 20 snack credits, 4 TS, and 8 CS or something close to that. Can you imagine?!

Sadly we ate our brekkie. Not a single one of us was ready for this trip to end. We chatted about what fun we had had and how sad we were to get back to real life.

We headed back to the room and took lots of pictures, which I can’t post. I know, I know. We finished packing, called bell services to get our bags, and headed out. We had about 2 hours before ME was going to pick us up. If you know anything about me, I am a nervous traveler. Michael suggested we head to DTD and I laughed. No way Jose! We shopped for a bit, we had to use those credits. We were able to cash each CS for 2 snack credits. We ended up with well over 30 snack credits. We stocked up on treats for their teachers, friends, and ourselves. I think we still have some Princess chocolates and a few suckers left.

We sat near the water at the POR while the kids played with their various prizes collected throughout the trip. That’s when we got attacked by Love Bugs. I swear we didn’t see one the entire time until that last day and they were everywhere and they were disgusting at best.

The bus arrived and the sadness really sank in. We were going home. We watched the ME tv on the way to the airport. We had packed some sandwiches that we got from the snack bar.

The plane ride home was super uneventful. We all dozed a little, chatted, and snacked.

We arrived at home as scheduled and when we walked through the door, I felt very mixed. I was happy to be home safely but sad to be away from Disney. The reality sunk in that it would be a good long while before we made it back.

I still have TONS of photos to share, that one day, long from now they’ll appear. Please keep this thread open moderators even if it’s a while before I get the photos up.

Thanks to all of you who have read this and stuck around. It really was the most magical trip to Disney ever and we can’t wait to get back. We have a solid trip planned in May 2009 for WDW and if I win this bloody contest that I have been entering for a week, I’ll get to Disneyland sooner. Wish me luck!
