That is the best towel animal I've ever seen. I know what Buzz would do-immediately dismantle it.

 If my DH did such a thing, he'd be in BIG trouble :headache:

"Buzz!! ep ib os uh, et." Just a bunch of weird syllables coming from my mouth. Finally, I get out, "Gators!" I saw 3 alligators flopping around in the water. They go under the bridge so I rush to the other side, hoping to get another glimpse.

"HUH???" They weren't alligators at all, but some kind of seal critters.

:rotfl2:

That must have been disappointing. But still...weren't you excited to see the otters??? That would have been cool :thumbsup2

But we did get dolphins swimming right near us. Totally made up for not seeing the manatee! Kayaking in Ft Myers was wonderful!

That must have been awesome :woohoo:

I'd post more replys but it'll have to wait. It's late and Buzz is beat. :sad2:

You two must communicate more! But fun for us!

When I'm on the road, we talk at least once per day.

We would see tons of armadillos while camping in FW. One year we had a family of ducks move-in to our campsite with us. That was fun, well except for my younger brother who was scared of ducks. (long story, not appropriate for this thread).

LtP is afraid of ALL birds. Why me?

Linnie, This is my very first reply to anyone on the Disboards.

Welcome!

Mmm... armadillo tartar. It's on the menu of the Roadkill Cafe -- you kill 'em, we grill 'em.

They don't take care of dead animal here so much. I remember driving down the road where they were repainting the white sidelines. And they actually painted right up and over a dead animal! I was grossed out and mad at the same time.

That's all I have to say right now!

Linnie, This is my very first reply to anyone on the Disboards. You inspired me to come out of lurkdom with your dress story. I had a similar incident with a body briefer that was apparently too small. It went on fine, but I couldn't get out of it and I had my arms stuck up over my head, not able to move to bring it back down or off. Worst part was, I was in a dressing room at the mall. :scared: I was on the verge of crying out for a sales lady, when I finally got the darn thing off. I wasn't brave enough to try another size. How come when you actually NEED a sales person, they are never there to ask if you need help?!

I have actually been lurking for months now. You guys and your trip reports are absolutely hilarious!

Thank you and glad you came out of lurkdom. I like your user name!

Wow-that sounds scary to get stuck in a body briefer. That feeling of being trapped in clothing is not good. I kept zipping the zipper in that dress up farther and farther thinking it would be like a coat and would come sliding down. Well it didn't. It was sooo tight. And the wedding was in 10 days, with the 4th of July being in that time period. i had to beg a seamstress to fix it for me. It was finished the morning of the wedding. It looked a little different than the other bridesmaids' dresses, but then so did I with my big tummy.

And that is so true about sales people-I can't find them when I need them either!

Goof-the reason we didnt' throw the armadillo in the Fry Daddy was b/c that was PFD (Pre-Fry Daddy). And we do have our limits! Though, far out they are at times.

I would like to mention, however, that every time we passed it, Buzz would point and say, "Armadilla." Every time. :sad2:

:lmao: bad body briefers and bridesmaid dresses...how traumatic!! Like normal dressing room drama isn't horrendous enough, to be trapped in clothing would throw some of us over the edge.:lmao:

:rotfl2: That's so true!

I'm all caught up!

I have read your previous trip reports when they were all finished and LOVED them! I have never been able to post on them before, so I'm glad I caught this one in progress.

Im sad I missed the beginning of it though! I can't believe we're at 100 pages and still on day 1. This should make studying for all my final exams a little better.

You guys are hysterical!! I can't wait to read the rest.

:cool1:

I woke up this morning to some clatter outside my door so I went to check out what all the fuss was and you'll never guess who was there!!!!

Our little blue friend Stitch :stitch2:

He has a message for you guys:
