I'm trying to do a Wreck it Ralph themed room for my DD who is 3.5 yo. I've found the wreck-it ralph wall decals but we'd like to do more than just the walls and I would like it to focus on the Sugar Rush theme of the movie. Everything I've found is so expensive. I figured you budget minded people could help me come up with some creative ideas. So any ideas out there? I'm even willing to make things myself.

Try searching up Candyland themed rooms, etc. You could always tailor the colors to fit more of the Sugar Rush part of the movie.

I know I've seen a gummy bear lamp before... you could take styrofoam discs, wrap in colored celophane, insert a wooden dowel... and voila you have a big lollipop to hang on the wall.

I have seen lots of Christmas decorations in candy themes as well... such as gingerbread, gumdrops, etc. that could possibly be used.

Since sugar rush focuses on a racing theme in the movie... there is a "track" you can paint using magnetic paint along the wall... glue a magnet on the back of a hot wheel car and let your daughter race them around the room on her wall.

I would search Pinterest for ideas as well. I know I don't have specific products but this could be a start. I'm in the middle of transforming my son's room into ninja turtles so I'm right there with you!

Thanks so much Nikki for the race track idea. That's awesome about the magnetic track with cars to race around the room.

When I used to work at a daycare I would draw the figures on a piece of clear paper (think laminated sheets run through the laminator minus the paper in between), then I used a projector to "transfer" the images onto the walls and painted directly on the walls. Sometimes libraries will let you rent a projector. Doesn't hurt to ask. :)

Also, I second the idea of painting the track on the walls with the magnetic cars. I definitely saw that posted on pinterest not too long ago. And how fun will that be...I wish my room would have magnetic race cars on the wall :upsidedow

Good luck!

Painting the candy cane trees should be easy to do, also. Just don't forget the double stripes!
