Why does Teppan Edo no longer take DDP?

Why does Teppan Edo no longer take DDP? Up until the other day it said it did and we have plans in 2 weeks. Any clue?

It isn’t unusual for restaurants not owned by Disney to not show up on the DDP list right away in the new year. They may still accept it.

Seems weird that its a constant thing and not eventually fixed if it is an error.

Yikes! I made a reservation there for our trip as well. Fingers crossed that it's a glitch on WDW system. When I googled it, I discovered there was a glitch in Disney's system last year because someone asked the Disney Mom's Panel if Teppan Edo was included in the dining plan because the WDW website didn't reflect it (beginning of January last year). The representative confirmed it was on the dining plan, but WDW's site didn't reflect the accurate information because they were waiting on restaurants to confirm their participation in the dining plan. I'm hoping since the new year just occurred, there's a similar delay in reflecting accurate information.

They don’t show up on the official list until they have a signed reimbursement contract in place for the new calendar year, but they usually still accept it if they did the year before. It seems to happen every year with the restaurants operated by other companies.

It has to do with contract signing. It happens with various restaurants every year.

As others have said we see this every year w non-Disney owned restaurants. Contracts take longer to finalize and then have the dining pages updated

It's not a glitch. Moms' Panel is using that word wrong. It's just business as usual. Until anybody has solid proof otherwise, every. single. restaurant. that participated last year is participating this year.

Just an FYI, haven't seen anything official from Disney or STK, but several outlets are reporting that STK Orlando is not accepting the dining plan at all for 2020.
