DD is in a state tournament this weekend, about 3 hours from home. The kids on her team are wanting to paint some of the windows on the cars before we start to drive up.

Do they make a specific type of paint or marker for this? Obviously, we want something that will just wash off in the carwash when we get home after the weekend.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

In the past I have used shoe polish that came in the tube with the sponge on the end, but recently, I have seen 'Window Decoration Paint' in the local party stores. (iParty, etc)

Thanks Debster and MrsKreamer! I knew there had to be something for this!

Liquid White Shoe Polish with the sponge tip applicator - it's what they use at the speedway to mark all of the cars running the 1/4 mile drag.

Crayola has some!! Try the marker/craft aisles.

They have an 8 pack of "Window FX" Washable Markers. It has White, Rose, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green, Slate & Brown. These are the same size as the larger bold markers. I know they work on windows, glass & mirrors ("interior" use). I have never tried them on the outside of the car windows.

I know that there are other products not by Crayola. I used to have a red one that looked like those bingo markers. This one had a writing surface that was about 1-1/2" wide. I think (as mentioned) you can find these in the automotive department. This is the kind you would see on cars that are for sale.
