Which has a better tasting breakfast, Garden Grill or Hollywood and Vine?

2Adults. Which has better food?

I can't speak for H&V, but Garden Grill has always been a great experience for me with really good food. It's one of my go-to places.

They are very different experiences.

H&V is a buffet
Garden Grill is not

My kids when younger loved Buffets, they can go get whatever they want and eat whatever they want.

We would always book breakfast before opening at HS and the kids loved it.

Both are good depending on what you're looking for.

now they (28, 22, 18) still like a Buffet but prefer going to Boma.

I would say our most common breakfasts are, in no order;

Boma - love it, always have
Trattoria al Forno (we generally stay at BWV) - it's good priced and the french press coffee is great
Rainforest Cafe - shockingly good breakfast. We will hit up AK at opening then head over to eat around 930-10
Ale & Compass - while I'm typically a sausage and egg guy at breakfast, We all end up ordering their chocolate waffles with cherry
Les Halles- great for a quick bite
Tusker House

In truth we often just run down to the lobby and grab a pastry, or croissant.

Do note though that Garden Grill is still "all you care to enjoy" in that they will bring you more food upon request. They can also bring an entire skillet or just what you want more of. It is served family style and has less variety than a typical buffet.

Definitely true, it's Family Style.

it's good food, just think the two aren't really comparable in the "type of experience" offered.

Buffet and Family Style are quite different.

both are good, but very different styles.

Right, it's just that "all you can eat" and "buffet" are often taken to mean the same thing. I just wanted to be clear that GG does offer an endless amount of food.

I haven't been to GG for breakfast since COVID, but pre-COVID it was my favorite character breakfast. It's mellow for a character breakfast and the food was pretty good.

Weird, I've never considered them remotely the same.

Buffet: go choose from a very large assortment of offerings and eat all you want.
Family Style: Endless amounts of the same group of food

Again, I like both.

Family Style: Whispering Canyon and Liberty Tree are two we love and go to nearly every trip. Ohana is another
Buffet: Boma, Biergarten, Cape May, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, etc. etc.

Buffet is generally a little more loud and bustling. Family Style is a more subdued and quiet. Outside of Whispering Canyon of course.

Okay, but not all "family style" meals are unlimited either. I just wanted to make sure that the OP knew that both places provided all you care to enjoy offerings.
