What is a special dessert other than the slipper?

I would like to have a special dessert served to my dad for his birthday, during our dinner reception. Don't want to go with any kind of cake because we would already have had wedding cake, and don't want to go with the slipper dessert, (too girly I think).

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a nice surprise?

I haven't tried these, but have seen pictures of strawberries dipped in chocolate. They are dressed in a "manly" tuxedo and shirt of chocolate. They look yummy.

They have a white chocolate mickey that stands up right and surrounded by chocolate dipped strawberries. I think it is $50.

They also have a Dog Bone Dessert. I think it's a chocolate eclair but I could be wrong.

I would call the person helping you with your dinner reception and see what they can come up with.
