I'm fairly happy over here.

Example:

Cheeseburger or a Mayo Chicken, Medium Fries, four Chicken McNuggets and a Medium Soft Drink.

£5. I view that as a steal :D

My family of five (well four, I ate something else) had McDonald's last night. It was over forty dollars. Crazy.

I am convinced that I live by one of the most expensive McDonald’s in Canada. My preferred meal of chicken and bacon mcwrap with fires and drink comes to almost $18. (can$)

Sorry, edited my original thread to the ACTUAL £5 menu!

We have a custom order we have each time:

2 x Fillet 'o' Fish
1 x Double Quarter Pounder
1 x Quarter Pounder
1 x Large Fries
1 x Medium Fries
2 x Large Drink
1 x Medium Drink
1 x Chocolate Milkshake
2 x Apple Slices
1 x Large McFlurry
2 x Ketchup
2 x Sweet and Sour Sauces

Enough for 4 people.

Our price: £23. Eat in or take away.

You can get deals at McDonald’s if you order on their app. I haven’t purchased French fries in over a year because there is always a free fry with purchase available. However items such as the McDouble or McChicken that used to be $1 are now closer to $4, same for a Sausage McMuffin. A Quarter Pounder is over $6. Ice cream cones over $3.

If I use the app and take advantage of the deals offered, I can get a sandwich, fries, and a drink for between $5-7 depending on the day and what I'm ordering. If ordering straight off the menu without using the app, those same $5-7 meals cost $10+.

I do miss their £1 menu. £1 for a Cheese Burger, Small Fries, 6 McNuggets, Chicken Mayo, small drink, small McFlurry, etc. Not bad for an on the spot snack!

Not a frequent customer of McDonalds. Did eat there a couple of weeks ago, two double cheese burgers and a large fry came to over $15. 2 years ago that same order was under $7.

Using the app I can get some pretty good deals.

Any size fries for $1.29 combined with 2 for $3.99 Mcdoubles. Throw in a drink and I've got a full-sized lunch for about $7.50, or just over $5 if I skip the drink (which I often do because I eat at home and have drinks there).

The Jack App is how I get my tacos too. They're $1.99 if ordered off the menu, but only $0.99 if ordered off the app. That's a steal.

You can actually get a similar meal for $5 in the app. It is small fries and drink and a McDouble not a single cheeseburger.
Yes the $5 meal is a McDouble or a Mc chicken. I love McDonalds and fast food in general. I would choose it over an expensive restaurant. But eating for me is about getting some nurishment somewhat quickly and moving on to the next thing.

Yeah, and unfortunately that's the pitfall of fast food, most of it is lacking in nutrition if not outright horrible for you, hence why I try to limit it to once or twice a month, usually after a blood donation just to get something in me quickly and start regenerating what I just gave.

Panda Express is an exception for me though, there's more sustenance in a lot of their dishes then people give it credit for. My favorite dish for instance, Kung Pao Chicken, is pretty heavy on the onions, peppers and zucchini, so it's high in fat but also high in other nutrients.

Last time I went to McDonalds, over this past summer, I ordered a large fry. The total was $5.47. It made it the last time I'm going to McDonalds.
