I drive a crew cab pickup and am not familiar with what exactly a midsize car is. The Alamo site says midsize is a Toyota Corolla or similar. What cars are usually found under the midsize category other than a Corolla?

This is my first time ever renting a car and I'm little nervous (I don't have the best sense of direction). Can someone tell me exactly how to get from the airport to Animal Kingdom Lodge?

The mid size we had this past july was a camery. There were also impalas there too.

What will you be offered as as intermediate by Alamo? IME, one of the following: Chevy Cruze, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, Nissan Sentra, Hyundai Elantra, or a Kia Forte.

As to the easiest way to get from the airport to the AKL: leave the airport via the "South Exit" road. Proceed until you come to the exit for the Florida Greenway (FL417) which is a toll road (you will need less than $5 in change for the trip). Take FL417 until you come to the Osceola Pkwy exit, and turn right as you come out of the exit toll booth. Keep going on Osceola until you see the sign for AKL (Animal Kingdom Lodge Access Rd.) on your right, and turn in. Once you exit the airport the trip will take about 20-25 minutes.

Correction to the end of the route:

As you approach DAK on Osceola Pkwy, you will take a left exit towards AKL; the main lanes go into the DAK parking lot. It's well signed: "AKL Left Lane", "DAK Straight Ahead". Then you will go straight thru one more traffic light, and come to the AKL guard shack.

Thanks!

Those directions sound easy enough.

When I was at MCO last month the midsize isle was mainly Chyrsler 200's. There were also several Corollas and Sentras...there was also one Caliber. We took a Corolla because we looked at the trunk and though it was large....which it was we got 2 large suitcases and 3 carryons in there plus 2 back packs. I would select this car again in a heart beat.....loved it.

Last year when I was there the midsize isle was mainly Chevy HHR's with a few Mazda 3's and a Nissan Cube.

Last time I rented w/ Alamo in the midsize aisle I found many HHR's, a few Corollas & I think Malibu's.
I love renting from Alamo, they make it very convenient.
It's really very easy to navigate Disney property, signage is good! Don't sweat it : )
