What age did you take your kids on the Barnstormer?

Our daughter is 2 (26 months to be exact) and will just reach the height requirement for the Barnstormer when we arrive at Disney next month. She's a total thrill seeker in that she loves to spin and get dizzy and hang upside down but this would be her first rollercoaster ride and introduction to heights. How old were your kids when they rode the Barnstormer (or their first rollercoaster in general?). Did they enjoy it or get scared afterward?

As a side note I REALLY wish Disney would do a ride photo for the Barnstormer, especially because for many kids this is their first rollercoaster ride!

We took our daughter on the Barnstormer at 2.5 and she loved it. Honestly it's such a quick ride there is barely a chance to be scared!

We took our youngest on the last trip she was 26 months. She was OK, but not overly thrilled with it.

My daughter first went on it at 2.5 and LOVED IT. Now at 4.5, she cries when she goes on it (but loves Mine Train...?).

2.5 for my son and a foster daughter. The foster daughter was afraid of playground slides, but loved Barnstormer so much she rode it twice in row! My son loved it, too, but he isn't afraid of much.

My grandson was 2.5 last August and loved it. He was barely under the ht requirement for SDMT, but rode that on our October trip. Love it as well.

My daughter is a thrill seeker and first rode it when she was two. The lady behind us in line admonished me for taking MY daughter on the ride, but she loved it and giggled the whole time.

My oldest was four when he road the barnstormer. His 2.5 year old sister wasn't up for the challenge :)

My son is 2.5 and last month he loved it. Rode with his hands up. My daughters are 8 they still love it too, but somehow while riding one hit their mouth on the ride and broke her front tooth in half.

My youngest daughter was 3 the first time she met the height requirement for Barnstormer. She is very timid and probably the least thrill seeking of all our kids. She loved it! Thank goodness for rider swap because before it even came to a complete stop she was begging to ride it again.

2, our second trip. It was his favorite ride and he will still (a year later) wait in line 45 minutes if he has to. We have gotten very lucky and got to ride it and 7D in the first seat. He is a small child too (39 inches at 3.5). I did hold on to him the first time we rode barnstormer as it made me more nervous than him due to his size.

My daughter was 2, my son was 1.5 (he's very big for his age) they both loved it and ride every visit!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll take her on it and see how she does. My husband is 6'4" and I don't think he would fit, even though I'm sure she would rather go on it with him! Total Daddy's girl

If she's a thrill seeker and not afraid of other rides, go for it!
