Bad idea. You get delayed nbd as maybe you’ll come on with your friend, your friend gets delayed and you could be twiddling your thumbs while lugging your suitcase around at MCO for a long time.

Take separate rideshares. If you arrive as planned use the time to settle into your hotel room, grab a shower, etc.
