Volcano Bay - 1 day tickets?

thankyou. for some reason when I was looking for them yesterday I could only see Volcano Bay available as a 3 day ticket or more.
Good to know, because we have 2 park AP's but want to go to Volcano Bay for a day.

question: I understand we will get a discount on the tickets using our AP discount, do I do this at volcano bay on the day? or am I better of buying them a day or two before? It will be the first 2 weeks in May.
If buying them before, do we just go to the ticket booth / guest services at City Walk or our hotel ?

You can buy them at your hotel or city walk.

We usually buy them at our hotel before we head over to Volcano Bay same day. I would suggest not buying them at Volcano Bay because its more of a line. You can usually buy them day of, but Volcano Bay does hit capacity very often in the summer. First 2 weeks of May should be fairly dead in a "calm before the storm" of Epic opening on May 22nd. I would generally speaking never buy water park tickets ahead of time just because Florida weather is unpredictable.
