vera bradley purse broken

the snap broke on it can I send it back?? I hardly even used it?? what are their return policies??
 
I checked the vera bradley website for you. This is what I found:

If you purchased through an authorized Vera Bradley retailer, please return to the store where your purchase was made, so that your product can be thoroughly inspected. The store will be happy to handle your return appropriately.

If you purchased your product at a Vera Bradley Store or through verabradley.com and wish to return your order, please follow the instructions under "Returns and Cancellations" in the Help? section of this website or return the item to a Vera Bradley Store. "
 
The return policy is pretty easy. First if it is a discontinued pattern and they do not have it in stock at the store you will get a full creidit of your purchase price to the card you used to purchase it. To avoid paying shipping to return the purse, go to your local retailer with paperwork and they will call VB to authorize the return. I had to return my purse recently as the purse was fraying around the area of the zipper. I was bummed because there were no other purses available in that pattern/style combination, but I was given a full refund of my purchase price.
 
thanks I purchased it online from VB themselves but I don't have my receipt :sad2: I will contact them and see if maybe they might have a
record of my sale. thanks again for your help!!
 
The same thing happened to me. I got a purse as a gift and the magnet snap broke quickly. I called them and they said to bring it back to the store which I could not do since I didn't know where it came from so they said to send it back to them at my expense and they would look at it, if it was a defect they would issue me a credit for a new bag. I never did it, I just gave it away and bought myself a Coach!

You will not have a probelm gettting information. Just pull up your account on line through their website. Once there you will see an order history and information to ship back or to take with you for your return. Easy peasy!

It would not have mattered where the bag was purchased, VB credits their merchants for taking the defective merchandise, so if you ever have that difficulty again, or know someone who is having a problem, tell them to go to the website and search for retailers in their area. Then just go to one of them and if it is indeed a defect, which the retailer will know what to look for, they can replace the purse on the spot or issue you a credit by calling VB.

thanks just got off the phone with vb...just like you said I have to bring the purse to my local vb dealer. If they feel it is defective they must give me
a purse just like it even if I received it on sale :goodvibes
