It's really difficult to predict FL weather so far out. It changes all the time. If your husband wants to watch the forecast, I would look at WESH weather rather than the Weather Channel. WESH is based in Orlando, and I think do a more accurate forecast.

Which would be great if they did forecasts out two weeks in advance. But they stop on the 10th as of now.



Until then you kind of have to look at the big accuweather or weather channel for an idea.

As for animals I believe they actually prefer a cool day to a hot summer day.....

I believe many of the animals on the safari are given the choice whether to go out or stay in. Some years ago we were there when the temps were in the 40s, I think, and the giraffes were out but all clustered around the entrance to their house. I’m planning to book safari for the afternoon, not the morning, when we're there!

We went Christmas '22 and it was around 32 degrees in the morning when we did our safari and we didn't see many animals at all. I think it's def a good move to aim for afternoon!

I was in Disney once when the weather got below freezing and killed off a bunch of plants. I remember seeing these cute little signs apologizing because "Jack Frost paid us a little visit". I really regret not taking a picture of the signs. So I hope for the signs-but then it can hurry and warm up again.

We saw those signs too - January 2010! We were bundled up with every layer we had brought. I felt stupid when we went to AK and hardly saw any animals on safari - of course they were smart enough to stay inside!
