I bought (2) DGC's from Meijer today, one for $50 and one for $450. I have the receipt and the activtion slips for both of them. When I got home tonight, I was able to successfully transfer the balance from the $50 to one of my "base" cards, but when I went to do the $450 one, I got an error message. I looked closer at the card and realized that the 10th digit was "damaged" when I peeled the sticker off. I thought it was a 6, but I guess it could be a 5 or a 3. I tried again with the different options and got the same error message each time. Finally, I called the number on the back of the card. The CM had me read the card number to her (ummm.....that's the issue right now, but OK) and I started with the "6" because that seems like the most likely number. She told me that the number I gave her is invalid and then refused to check either of the other options. She told me that I needed to go to disneygiftcard.com/contactus and fill out the form. She also told me I will need to attach photos of the receipt and the front and back of the card. I did that...and now the website won't load. I got another error message..."We are unable to submit your query at this time. Please try again later." Ughh! This is so frustrating! I thought it might just be a website issue, but the $50 card went through without an issue. I am fairly confident that I will get this to work and get it resolved, but I am not sure what else to do. Fortunately, I have another 6 weeks before our trip so there is still time to get it cleared up.
