Twin rooms at Miracosta?

Just want to check my understanding that a twin room is usually 2 single beds, is that the case at the Miracosta or is it 2 double beds?
The default room picture confused me as it looks like 2 doubles and the room wording implies a double room only has 1 bed in the room...

We were in a "twin" room at the MiraCosta and had 2 beds - they were about full size (by U.S. terminology). A "double" room would have only 1 bigger bed.

So big enough for 2 people to share one “twin” bed?

I shared the bed with my 8 year old and it was fine. I don't know about sharing with another adult, might be a little tight.

When booking though, each adult needs one bed unless it's a "double" room (i.e. a "twin" room can only fit 2 adults unless it also has a trundle and/or cruise bed).

Cool, think we’ll go for a double then - thanks for the advice!
