Thanksgiving Week Trip 2005
Cast included me, Disney Nut 48 and two teen DSs. Dad stayed home!
We were on the dining plan.
Toy Story Pizza Planet Lunch
Really good pizza is hard to find when you are used to the absolute best the northeastern states can offer. That said, pizza at Toy Story is not bad but not great. It's the whole Toy Story movie thing we love. In the past we have sat outside but opted for the upstairs this time. It was a good place to relax, use the bathrooms and wash hands! (I can't help being a mom! )
We ate on the very early side of lunch and the line was rather quick. Past visits, resulted in very slow service. My advice, go early or be patient.
We opted for one Buzz's Meal Deal which consisted of a good sized individual cheese pizza and a tossed salad. Two of us had the Junkyard Meal Deal which was a veggie pizza and the salad. Salads are your basic iceberg lettuce with a couple of cukes, red onion? and a couple of cherry tomatoes. Dressing is prepackaged with the usual choices. Dessert was a Mickey Rice Crispy Treat for each of us. Those treats are really good and travel well if you are too full. Drinks were unsweetened ice tea, root beer and a water.
We are not big on eating lots of burgers so Pizza Planet offers a tasty alternative. I am shaking my head and chuckling while telling you that it is always our lunch time stop when we are at MGM. Not the best counter service in WDW or even close to the worst but certainly a good choice for us at the Studios.

Although the place looks nothing like the movie set, we love the big Toy Story figures on the top wall outside. Inside the arcade area could draw you in if you are fans of those kind of games. We were too anxious to get back to the park to bother with any except the photo booth.
