I know he is 20 and HE believes himself a mature adult but when DH and I took him to the airport for So Korea I saw my "little boy" again 
As it was time for him to board he would take 2 steps and look back at me and wave then take 2 more steps and turn around and blow me a kiss then take 2 more steps and stop. I had to give him a big smile of encouragement and let him know everything will be OK. He never saw me cry but when he finally turned the corner there went the "water works"
