The Widow & the Spinster Take a Bougie WBTA Cruise That Didn't Suck! - Yet Another Day at Sea, and a Little Too Much Mixology! 3/6

Hi! I am martie 75. I live in Pennsylvania and am a senior lady that has been a lurker on your trip reports for years. I love you reports and feel like I am sailing right along with you. I finally figured out how to get on here and had to tell you how sad I am for you as Fran went to her final home. So now, here I am really enjoying your trip reports.

Not sure if our room steward was slow or had too many cabins to clean but it was frustrating at how late she got to our cabin. She would always want to come in when we had come back and were chilling before dinner.
I don't know, but it was very annoying that we would come back to the room and it was rarely made up.
It was quite nice just to sit outside and enjoy the veranda with a nice crisp Orange Fanta!
I thought by now you had moved on to the wine!
I thought the photographer suggested it but who knows but it turned out really cute!
::yes::
It was a great view!
I loved watching the last sign of land we would see for days just slip out of view.
So good and RIP Artist Point! I know character meals are money makers but it was one of my favorite signature restaurants!
I only got to eat there once. 😭
I'm picky on what seafood I will eat but fried calimari is great (only the rings...the tentacles make me 🤢 ) The old version was better but this was delicious.
I can't wait to have it again in May!
I'm so generous!
:lmao:
Ooh I need to see if I can find this wine locally because it was really tasty.
It was tasty!
Cooked perfectly and no curry in sight!
There is a Borolo Jus, Béarnaise, and Salsa Verde.
Thanks for clarifying!
I cover up the coffee taste with milk and sugar...I think it helps me digest but who knows?!?! I'm weird!
It make me puke after a meal, so I avoid it. Unless it is a special coffee from a special place.
I love a classic but the amaretto is good too.
I love the Amaretto! ❤️
Limoncello slushy! I could drink a whole boatload of this!
It's so good!
Much better meal than Remy!
::yes::

This is a great shot!!! I love the sun peeking through like that.
Thanks! I'm so glad to have figured out that setting on my phone! I may not bring the big camera anymore.
First I thought you were going to say he brought containers so YOU could take the leftovers!! THAT would've been a nice touch :)
Yeah, but the ship would have made us toss them, so no point.
They've started putting those in at Am Fam Field in Milwaukee and in the airports here in Chicago!! I have wondered the same thing--what if you don't buy anything??
Well if you find out, let me know!
What a great picture!! This one's a keeper for sure.
I've got it framed on my hallway wall, where I used to put pictures of Fran and I. Now I am adding pictures of friends.
Glad the meal at Palo was so much more enjoyable than the Remy one. Everything looked so delicious! We've only ever done Palo brunch, but dinner is definitely on my list!
Palo dinner is soooooo good!

Yeah, but the ship would have made us toss them, so no point.
Gah, that's true! I wasn't even thinking about the fact you can't bring opened food back on board with you. Well, lucky for him taking home the leftovers then! :)

I've got it framed on my hallway wall, where I used to put pictures of Fran and I. Now I am adding pictures of friends.
That's so wonderful. Treasured memories old and new! ❤️ :lovestruc

Palo dinner is soooooo good!
Tonight is the activity booking window for my May cruise with my Mom--first time as a Gold Castaway Club member. I'm excited to see what's available for us! We only have three nights, and I know she wants to experience all of the restaurants, but might try to convince her to try one of the fancier options!

Not at Aulani, but all over everywhere else! We actually saw a kitty at Aulani, I feel like I prob sent you a pic
I remember that from the Bahamas and Caribbean. It's been almost 40 years since I was last in Hawaii, so I'm totally looking forward to it!

Yes! You actually sent me a video! I looked back through the media in our chat!
Love this one too! :lovestruc
Well that's interesting you got the same table! Nice view though!
I think that they try and keep consistency with your visit. You stay with the same server throughout the trip.

I LOVE pesto cream, so this one is right up my alley
I think I'm going to order this in May!
This looks spot on to me, yum!!
I'm still trying to decide what to get for my main. Do I want Rack of Lamb two nights in a row?
Nice combo for sure! I know you look forward to this!
Totally. I want two souffles! It is my birthday!
I think I'd be getting both, or else D would get one, and myself the other :)
I think that the chocolate is too intense. I know don't flame me here! :lmao: I really like the delicate flavor of the Amaretto!

How is the pizza on DCL?
It was actually pretty good! I got it a second time, didn't I?
Geez. Wait til your gone for dinner. :sad2:
How about doing it when we go out for breakfast?
No commando for Alison!
Heck no!
Lovely dress :)
Thanks! I got to pull out some of my better ones for this trip!
Looks like they’re deep in conversation.
It sure does!
Love Donald’s expression.
Priceless!
Let the fighting begin.
Nah, they give us enough of each one. I'm not even sure Jill ate any of the bread.
Because she doesn’t care for them?
Nope. They're all for me.
But that’s the best part.

;)
I felt self conscious.
Cool! Never seen that before.
Palo is high class!
I’ll go with Jill’s comment… that’s weird!
:lmao:

Gah, that's true! I wasn't even thinking about the fact you can't bring opened food back on board with you. Well, lucky for him taking home the leftovers then! :)
I bet he loved the fact that Jill and I didn't eat much and he had dinner or an afternoon snack ahead of him that day.
That's so wonderful. Treasured memories old and new! ❤️ :lovestruc
::yes:: ❤️
Tonight is the activity booking window for my May cruise with my Mom--first time as a Gold Castaway Club member. I'm excited to see what's available for us!
So how did you do?
We only have three nights, and I know she wants to experience all of the restaurants, but might try to convince her to try one of the fancier options!

That's how some of the first time Disney cruisers are feeling for my birthday cruise. They want to experience all the MDRs.

Day 12

This morning we planned to take the Art of the theme show tour which began at 9AM so we made sure we were up in plenty of time. I had ticked off enough on my first coffee card that I got a free coffee this morning!

The guy at the coffee place knew me well enough that I didn't even need to order, he had my Americano waiting for me when I got up to the counter. I tipped him more for the free coffee than they were charging me for the 18% gratuity. On the last day or two, I'll give him a good tip like $10 now that I know that the additional gratuity goes to the server.

As I walked back to the room, I realized the sun was rising, so I went up to Deck 12 and took a few photos of the rising sun.

We went up to the buffet for breakfast since that's quicker than the sit down at Royal Palace. We found the Mickey Churro waffles and they were certainly delicious, and hot too! The butter melted on mine when I got to the table, unlike the waffles in the MDR which were cold when they came to me. The donut was very bland. I couldn’t eat it. The bacon was OK. Most of the bacon on the ship is not anything to write home about.

41369d39-334d-4315-b9fb-120d863d5f5e.jpg

I got a second plate with fruit and oatmeal. This size bowl is much more manageable than the larger one.

Jill only got a small amount of food.

37962f17-11ca-432c-a5ef-9a855a569311.jpg

Then we went up to Meridian to wait for the Art of the theme show tour. It was interesting, but not as interesting as I thought the one on the Wonder was. We spent most of the time in Meridian. He talked about various ways that the imagineers were able to create a mood of elegance in that space . They used wood paneling, leather chairs, whereas in another space they might have chosen different materials to create a different vibe.

We went down to Deck 4 where the District is located. Down here they wanted to create a paparazzi vibe where the guests were the stars. The strobe lights were one of the first effects they had to cut because they didn't consider people who had reactions to them, but he said that they are still installed and working because someone turned them on in dry dock and it was rather overwhelming.

We toured pink. The whole bar is supposed to look like you're inside a champagne bottle.

af41fc29-8260-4ad9-9847-556889d21d02.jpg

There is a little pink elephant who floats around in the bubbles on the wall, supposedly making you think you are tipsy. It would only be there for a second, so it was hard to take a picture of it. This chandelier is supposed to resemble champagne flutes.

98325f47-0ef9-45c2-8837-b12796ceb28e.jpg

Then we went up to Deck 5. All the guides for this tour like to talk about this. The ceilings are lower so that the kids have a sense of safety and that it is more an area for them. All the kids clubs are on deck 5 on all the ships. We got to visit one of them, something that I've never done before. They sure are cool. There was a big interactive dance floor in the middle

ea7ac077-cd57-4d4f-91c2-bf1eb192a9b5.jpg

They also had this cool ceiling above the dance floor that interacts with you as well.

The restrooms are based on Inside Out.

One room was a replica of the Millennium Falcon.

Another was Pixie Hollow.

Then the tour was over.

We took a few photopass pictures on deck 4.

Then we started the Midship detective. It was my first time ever doing it. We chose the Muppet Version. It was very cute.

You get a map, and badge, and you follow the clues found in the magic pictures. Sometimes you just go anywhere to a picture on the ship and sometimes they direct you to a specific location. Each of the clues at the various locations help you to eliminate suspects off your list. We got about ⅓ of the way through the game before it was time to go to the presentation of Don Ducky Williams.

This was in the Walt Disney Theater and it only filled up about halfway. When we entered Ducky was onstage doing what he does best, drawing.

363fb4e9-164a-46f7-8928-24e6f5b27911.jpg

When the presentation began he showed us how to draw Mickey. There is a template for character drawings, actually for every single character. But he concentrated on Mickey. If you're curious he said there are numerous YouTube videos of him showing this.

Then he drew another view of Mickey, but then he added three lashes to each eye and bow on top, and all of a sudden Mickey becomes Minnie. Sorry I guess I didn’t take any pictures of that. Then he spent the rest of the session taking questions from the audience which spawned all sorts of fun stories. The session ended around noon.

We had left off in the Midship Detective Agency with a clue that we needed to visit Pepe’s Stateroom Door. That was on Deck 5 Aft, and it was on the way to the buffet, where we had planned to have lunch.

3d905c38-9186-467b-9cf0-7f664c23e286.jpg

It was German Day on the lunch buffet, and I broke my cardinal rule of buffets. I did not walk the entire buffet before putting food on my plate. I had this entire plate of food before I discovered the crab legs.

So I grabbed a plate of crab legs.

We sat down to lunch and then I saw that Jill had pasta, and another person walked by and I saw macaroni and cheese. And so I had to go back to the buffet for this course to satisfy the palate of a seven year old.

This was Jill’s lunch.

On the way out we stopped at Vanellope’s sweet shop for some Gelato. There is an upcharge for this, but it was way better than the free crappy Ice Cream Cones.

Jill got Hazelnut Gelato without any toppings, but she stole a couple pieces of my Waffle chips. I didn’t take a pictures of hers.

Then we went on to complete the Muppet Mystery. Here was the Muppets Call Board which was full of clues to help us complete the challenge.

550b5f16-f1af-463a-8cfc-8f947088c2ee.jpg

Our last picture, where we solved the case, was conveniently on Deck 9 aft. We were just three floors below Meridian where we would have a Martini tasting at 1:30.

Up next, I get to drink all the martinis!

Jill only got a small amount of food.

The churro waffles were amazing! I found a mix at the grocery store so I can recreate them at home minus the Mickey shape since I don't have the Mickey waffle maker. The bacon was typical Disney bacon.
We toured pink. The whole bar is supposed to look like you're inside a champagne bottle.

af41fc29-8260-4ad9-9847-556889d21d02.jpg
I love Pink. The guide told a story about there being a group of kids that got a tour before the Dream launched and they broke a ton of the special lights and basically did a lot of damage. :(
One room was a replica of the Millennium Falcon.

Guess who I'm rooting for Sunday!
Then we started the Midship detective. It was my first time ever doing it. We chose the Muppet Version. It was very cute.
I love Midship Detective and I think the Muppet version is the hardest one.
So enjoyed seeing Ducky! On the longer cruises like the TA, Disney brings in special guests like Ducky. On the 2019 WBTA, we had Brett Iwan.

Hi! I am martie 75. I live in Pennsylvania and am a senior lady that has been a lurker on your trip reports for years.
Hi Martie75!

:welcome:
I love you reports and feel like I am sailing right along with you. I finally figured out how to get on here and had to tell you how sad I am for you as Fran went to her final home.

Thank you very much for your condolences.

So now, here I am really enjoying your trip reports.

I'm glad you enjoy them!

The churro waffles were amazing!
Yes they were! I can't wait to have them in May!
I found a mix at the grocery store so I can recreate them at home minus the Mickey shape since I don't have the Mickey waffle maker.
Really? I have at least two Mickey Waffle makers, one that makes big ones and one that makes small ones, like they serve on the cruise buffet.
The bacon was typical Disney bacon.
:lmao:
I love Pink. The guide told a story about there being a group of kids that got a tour before the Dream launched and they broke a ton of the special lights and basically did a lot of damage. :(
Wow! I don't remember that story. 😢
I would spend all my time here if I was a kid!
Right?????
Guess who I'm rooting for Sunday!
😭
I love Midship Detective and I think the Muppet version is the hardest one.
It was so much fun!
So enjoyed seeing Ducky! On the longer cruises like the TA, Disney brings in special guests like Ducky. On the 2019 WBTA, we had Brett Iwan.
Nice that they get Disney celebrities onboard.
The buffet was very varied today!

So yummy!

Foreshadowing!
No, that was the next day (or the day after).

As part of our Martini tasting, we had five different drinks. These were the ingredients that would be making our drinks, so it didn't look that bad, at least to me!

5719d94c-4848-4621-9ed5-110792f9f15a.jpg

The first was a version of the drink I had in Skyline the other night, the Vesper. But instead this one had an olive which I avoided while drinking both mine and Jill's drinks.

ab6b10db-b8e3-42a4-9d51-bf813c5537e7.jpg

For the next drinks, I’ll just describe them because it’s essentially the same picture five times with different color drinks. So I’ll just show you the collage. Our next drink was a version of a margarita with pineapple juice and paprika around the rim. Our third drink was the sidecar with a sugar rim. It was Cognac, Grand Marnier, and orange juice. So far Jill didn't care for most of these so I was drinking both of these drinks.

bd77a405-1ce4-4862-a237-9b7867464135.jpg

I don't know what the fourth drink was called but it was basically Malibu Rum and Midori. It was good except for the coconut taste in the Malibu Rum. I tried to ignore it. I'm especially glad I did when I realized the cost of this seminar! Each of these drinks was $10!

The last drink was the Creme Brulee Martini. It had Bailey's, Gray goose, and Amaretto. It was tasty, but somehow now as tasty as the one I enjoyed the first night in the MDR. We realized that evening that the one on the dessert menu in the MDRs has half & half, and caramel syrup as well. No wonder it tastes so much better!

There was no need to sign anything at the end, they just billed your stateroom. So we took off and went back to the cabin for a few minutes. Jill just stayed there and relaxed. I headed up to the spa because I had a seaweed wrap and massage.

That was heavenly! No pics cause I left my phone in the room to charge. She slathered almost my entire body with a seaweed masque, and then wrapped me up in a foil blanket. I think she gave me a scalp massage while I was in the cocoon, I'm not sure cause I fell asleep.

When we started to move my feet around, at first I thought I was in my stateroom and Jill was doing something to lift up my feet, but when I woke up I realized I was still in the spa.

She helped me to the shower which was just a few feet away from the massage table, and I rinsed off the seaweed mask. Then I hopped back on the table face down for a 75 minute massage. Of the three massages I had this week, this was the most relaxing. I left the spa feeling like a limp noodle. I hoped I would make it through the rest of the evening. It was about 5PM when I made it back to the room.

We had been on the ship for a week now and still had not made it to a show, so tonight we decided to go see “And the Award Goes To…” This was a celebration of award winning Disney Songs. Some worked better than others. “I've got a Dream” was great! They did a mash up of “Kiss the Girl” and “How Do You Know?” That didn't work out as well. And even less successful was five white girls singing the part of the muses from Hercules.

Overall the show was entertaining. There were also numbers from Frozen, Anastasia, and lots of other productions. We were glad we went.

We still had another hour until dinner, so we just went back to the room and chilled out until time for dinner.

Tonight's menu was a little odd. There weren't a lot of things on it that really tickled either of our fancy. Besides, we ate a lot before the Martini tasting.

I was intrigued by the lemon Sponge cake on the dessert menu. It turns out that it was super moist and super tasty. I was only going to eat part of it, but it was so good that I finished off the whole thing!

My stats for the day.

92fa5dd9-7d98-465d-a9c1-12f848a6ceba.jpg

So how did you do?
I was very pleasantly surprised that booking as a Gold Castaway Club member, I could literally have my pick of everything except a cabana at Castaway Cay! Every experience was available at multiple times. Since it's only a three night cruise, with no sea day, we didn't want to overbook ourselves in order to enjoy the ship, so I ended up only booking a martini tasting and a potential Nassau port adventure that we may cancel. I'm excited for the next cruise (hopefully a longer one!!) to have so much more availability on my activities booking day.

That's how some of the first time Disney cruisers are feeling for my birthday cruise. They want to experience all the MDRs.
My Mom and I are feeling the same way since this is our first cruise on the Wish. We decided to skip Palo, Remy and Enchante this time around, but she's already tossing around dates to go on a cruise with my Dad, and I bet they'll try one or more of those then!

Churro Mickey waffles are my absolute favorite!! That picture is making me hungry!

Your massage sounds divine!!! And I have a feeling I'll be enjoying several of my Mom's martinis at our tasting, as well! Lucky me! :)

The first was a version of the drink I had in Skyline the other night, the Vesper. But instead this one had an olive which I avoided while drinking both mine and Jill's drinks.

Def not my cup of tea....er...martini! 🤣

I like my martini's fruity or chocolatey!
I don't know what the fourth drink was called but it was basically Malibu Rum and Midori. It was good except for the coconut taste in the Malibu Rum. I tried to ignore it. I'm especially glad I did when I realized the cost of this seminar! Each of these drinks was $10!
The cost of the tastings and classes have gone up tremendously and aren't the greatest value anymore.
This was my favorite by far but I do like the creamier version the best.
When we started to move my feet around, at first I thought I was in my stateroom and Jill was doing something to lift up my feet, but when I woke up I realized I was still in the spa.
Nope, not a feet person. 🤣🤣🤣 But the seaweed wrap is one of my favorite spa treatments...although trying to shower off all the seaweed is hard!
And even less successful was five white girls singing the part of the muses from Hercules.
This was a travesty!

Another fun day!

Jill in CO

I'm especially glad I did when I realized the cost of this seminar! Each of these drinks was $10!
But isn’t that the issue with all these tastings? They used to be much more affordable! I booked us quite a few for the upcoming cruise, but will certainly cancel most as I just don’t see the value. I really liked the Tequila one we did on the Wonder, because we learned a lot and I usually wouldn’t order shots of Tequila.

The dessert you had sounded amazing. I need to look out for that menu on our cruise. I know Michael will want to skip some dinners, but I will make him skip some of the ones we have had so many times already…

It was actually pretty good! I got it a second time, didn't I?
True, but... I've had seconds of mediocre pizza. Even not-so-great pizza is still... pizza.
But bad pizza is gross.
How about doing it when we go out for breakfast?
Well, sure. But since that hadn't happened, I picked the next best; when you were not physically in the cabin.
:lmao:
I felt self conscious.
One does not gnaw on bones while dressed in one's finest.

Fallen behind here a little bit...

the Art of the theme show tour
That sounds interesting. I'd do that.
I had ticked off enough on my first coffee card that I got a free coffee this morning!
Free is always good. :)
The guy at the coffee place knew me well enough that I didn't even need to order, he had my Americano waiting for me when I got up to the counter.
Even better!
I do have a relationship with at least one shopkeeper, but not where they'd have something ready for me when I arrived. Such a nice touch.
Glowing!
We found the Mickey Churro waffles and they were certainly delicious, and hot too!
"Churro" waffles???
The bacon was OK. Most of the bacon on the ship is not anything to write home about.
But still bacon. yum.

Not as good as some, maybe, but... bacon.
Then we went up to Meridian to wait for the Art of the theme show tour. It was interesting, but not as interesting as I thought the one on the Wonder was.
It sounded pretty good, though.
The strobe lights were one of the first effects they had to cut because they didn't consider people who had reactions to them
How do you not think of that?? I'm not in the industry or a designer, but even I know that would be a really bad idea. :confused3
but he said that they are still installed and working because someone turned them on in dry dock and it was rather overwhelming.
:scared:
We toured pink. The whole bar is supposed to look like you're inside a champagne bottle.
Cool!
There is a little pink elephant who floats around in the bubbles on the wall, supposedly making you think you are tipsy.
:lmao:
"Did you see that?"
"What?"
"Pink elephant."
"You're cut off."
The ceilings are lower so that the kids have a sense of safety and that it is more an area for them.
Very nice touch. :)
They also had this cool ceiling above the dance floor that interacts with you as well.
How cool is that?
One room was a replica of the Millennium Falcon.
Why is this not an adult area????
Fun shot. Look at your hair! (Like the shirt, too. :))
You get a map, and badge, and you follow the clues found in the magic pictures. Sometimes you just go anywhere to a picture on the ship and sometimes they direct you to a specific location. Each of the clues at the various locations help you to eliminate suspects off your list.
Fun!
Then he drew another view of Mickey, but then he added three lashes to each eye and bow on top, and all of a sudden Mickey becomes Minnie.
She's (or he's) just a few pencils strokes from transitioning
It was German Day on the lunch buffet
Hello!!
and I broke my cardinal rule of buffets. I did not walk the entire buffet before putting food on my plate.
I don't think I follow that rule, but I do try to limit items at the head of the line.
I had this entire plate of food before I discovered the crab legs.
Whoops!
We sat down to lunch and then I saw that Jill had pasta, and another person walked by and I saw macaroni and cheese. And so I had to go back to the buffet for this course to satisfy the palate of a seven year old.

And how was the mac?
Gelato. There is an upcharge for this, but it was way better than the free crappy Ice Cream Cones.
Same on my Alaska cruise. I meant to try it, but somehow forgot about it and never did.
Jill got Hazelnut Gelato without any toppings, but she stole a couple pieces of my Waffle chips.
Thief!!
I would spend all my time here if I was a kid!
I want to spend all my time there as an adult!
Guess who I'm rooting for Sunday!
Oops. Might not have been a very good Sunday afternoon for ya.

These were the ingredients that would be making our drinks, so it didn't look that bad, at least to me!
Looks like lots to me!
while drinking both mine and Jill's drinks.
Our next drink was a version of a margarita with pineapple juice and paprika around the rim.
Not sure how I feel about this. Pineapple juice yes... paprika rim? Hmmm...
It was Cognac, Grand Marnier, and orange juice.
Not sure if I'd like this or not.
So far Jill didn't care for most of these so I was drinking both of these drinks.
That you remember.

:rolleyes1
I don't know what the fourth drink was called but it was basically Malibu Rum and Midori. It was good except for the coconut taste in the Malibu Rum.
Nope!
I tried to ignore it. I'm especially glad I did when I realized the cost of this seminar! Each of these drinks was $10!
I can't ignore it.
Individually, $10 doesn't sound bad, but... add them all up...
There was no need to sign anything at the end, they just billed your stateroom.
They probably knew the signatures would be illegible.
She slathered almost my entire body with a seaweed masque, and then wrapped me up in a foil blanket.
You're a sushi!
When we started to move my feet around, at first I thought I was in my stateroom and Jill was doing something to lift up my feet, but when I woke up I realized I was still in the spa.
:lmao:
Then I hopped back on the table face down for a 75 minute massage.
oooohhh...
Decadent. Nice.
I left the spa feeling like a limp noodle.
I bet!
We had been on the ship for a week now and still had not made it to a show, so tonight we decided to go see “And the Award Goes To…”
Glad you (mostly) enjoyed the show. Sounds like some misses, but mostly hits.
Tonight's menu was a little odd. There weren't a lot of things on it that really tickled either of our fancy.
Interesting. I see lots on there that I'd try.
I was intrigued by the lemon Sponge cake on the dessert menu. It turns out that it was super moist and super tasty. I was only going to eat part of it, but it was so good that I finished off the whole thing!
That was my first choice, too. :)
My stats for the day.
Much lower this time, from the last stats I saw.

WOW!! Those mosaics! I'd go there JUST for those!
Of course we walked through the center arch.
Of course you did. ;)
They have their own version of the Pastele de Nata, this one is topped with powdered sugar and the filling is much more dense.
I"ll have to look up what that even is. But you had me at powdered sugar.
Looks like it'll be a really nice new space.
I just loved the cobblestone/tile paving here.
YES, yes, YES!!
the barrier won't open to let you out of the supermarket until you scan your receipt. What if you end up not finding what you want and don't buy anything?
Ok, that's just odd.
Then we got an order of Gnocchi in Pesto sauce. This was the same thing that they served us at Prima Notte, but we only got one gnocchi and a half tomato slice. This was much nicer to have more! It was delicious, and Jill let me have all the tomatoes.
WAIT, hold the phone. You got the option of that gnocchi?! Sigh... Imma have to go there for dinner. However, I will say, had my wild mushroom ravioli been done correctly, it'd been delicious!

I took that tour as well and loved it. We didn't go into the kids' areas though. Love the Star Wars theme there.
I had this entire plate of food before I discovered the crab legs.
Oopsies!
Each of these drinks was $10!
:scared1:
When we started to move my feet around, at first I thought I was in my stateroom and Jill was doing something to lift up my feet, but when I woke up I realized I was still in the spa.

It's nice being able to book ahead of most people and get the things that you want! For my birthday cruise, the Platinums have books and so have the silvers. The first time cruisers booking window opens up this weekend.

My Mom and I are feeling the same way since this is our first cruise on the Wish. We decided to skip Palo, Remy and Enchante this time around, but she's already tossing around dates to go on a cruise with my Dad, and I bet they'll try one or more of those then!

It will be tough for me. We are thinking of doing the Wish about this time next year. And I'll want to try all the places!

Churro Mickey waffles are my absolute favorite!! That picture is making me hungry!
They sure are good! I'm going to have to have some on the first morning of the cruise. We are doing Palo Brunch on the 2nd morning, and then eating the "kick you off the ship" breakfast on the 3rd. Wow! That's going to be so short!
Your massage sounds divine!!! And I have a feeling I'll be enjoying several of my Mom's martinis at our tasting, as well! Lucky me! :)
