I want to give a big THANK YOU to Brandon, desk manager at the Contemporary resort. Last year we stayed from 11/27 - 12/4 and when we completed checkout around 10:00 am. I went to go get my truck and I had a flat tire! I had fix-a-flat in my travel box so I went to fill it to get on the road to a tire store to fix it and it ended up being a broke valve stem. When Brandon seen me trying to figure out what to do (my spare will not fit as my truck is lifted with big tires) he called a tow truck. The driver could not fix it so after an hour and wanting to get home (7+ hour drive),I offered the tow truck driver $100 to take my wheel off and go fix it. While I was waiting, Brandon sent my wife and 2 girls back in and fed them and also credited my account $100 ! I had no idea he did this until later on. But after he took my girls in and got them setteled, he stayed outside with me for over an hour and waited until my truck was fixed. He then personally helped load my luggage. Thank you Brandon!
I also want to give a huge thank you to Victor, concierge at the Contemporary! He went above and beyond when we were there in September this year 9/7 - 9/18. Because we spent 2 days in the resort due to Irma, He did a few great things. First off, we decided to stay one more day to use one of our 2 sets of ticket that were going to expire. We got 40% off our room for one more night! He also changed the remaining tickets to complementary park hoppers with a 2 year expiration! And last but not least, on our last day our remaining meals and snacks on our dining plan stopped working because we had a new reservation. He credited us for ALL the food we paid for the entire day AND sent us to use the credits in the resort to stock up on snacks! 28 total! I took home a boat load of Mickey rice krispy treats and other snacks. They both went above and beyond! Thank you both!
