We've just moved to Tallahassee, but now we need to know the route to Walt Disney World (and anticipate the tolls along the way). Can anyone give us a detailed route? ;)

You could always log onto Mapquest or yahoo.com ( maps ) and get detailed route information - I just drove from KY to DW and paid about $4 in tolls Michelle

Easiest way I can tell you is I-10 east to I-75 south to the Florida Turnpike south and get off at Osceola Parkway and take that in to Disney World. Tolls about $3.25. Enjoy your trip.

Dh says no to Osceola from north. I-10 east to I-75 south to Fla Turnpike south to I-4 west towards Tampa and get off at one of the Disney World exits. Tolls about $2 this way.

NO! Get off the FL tpke at Exit 282 and get onto Route 27 South. Follow to Route 192 Eastbound, and take that to WDW. Will save you all the massive I-4 congestion!! It's about a 45 minutes ride from the time you get off the Tpke until you get to the AK. It's a beautiful drive on a 4 lane divided highway through orange groves. Speed limits are 55 most of the way, and no congestion at all. Plus there's a really nice Publix that will be on your left right about 1/4 mile after you pass "Legends" golf course on the right about 15 minutes after getting onto 27 if you want to make a grocery stop.

Are you kidding. 192 has about the worst congestion I can think of. 27 is a beautiful but not if I have to drive 192 into Disney. Been there, done that and will NEVER do it again. And btw there are less and less of those orange groves and more and more congestion on US 27 as well. Trust me I was there just a few months ago on a non-Disney trip.

Yes, 192 can get congested, but most of it is EAST of WDW. To the West the congestion is no where near as bad. And it's still much better than I-4.

I disagree and I am up there every month to visit the parks or on business. We go between Miami, Orlando and Ft Walton almost monthly btw
