Hi all.....we're checking in at our resort in 13 days, and my DD21 really really really wants to go to the Space 220 Lounge. I've been trying for a few weeks to get a reservation, but alas, nothing is coming up (I am not surprised).

My questions to those that have done a walk up in the past......

What is the best time to go for the shortest wait time (typically).
and
How long did you have to wait before getting in?
and
Do you have to order food, or can you just order a few cocktails, enjoy the atmosphere and leave?
and
Also, is this lounge open during the EEH?

She wants to go, but not bad enough to wait an hour for it.
Whatever insight you can give, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks!

Sandy we did a walk-up for the lounge last year, it was kind of an "off time" like 2:30 in the afternoon on a weekday. We didn't wait long at all--like maybe 5 minutes? We sat at the bar and had apps & cocktails. Sitting at the bar you are facing away from the "windows" but you can turn around and take in the scenery whenever you like(Frankly, the novelty wore off pretty quickly.)

Our DIL often finds ADR times when we are at EPCOT. She found us a first (and only) Space220 dinner reservation same day in 2022. Many people cancel and there are no shows. I actually think you have a pretty good chance the closer you get. Be a stalker!!

I'm super interested in this, too! My son really wants to experience Space 220, but I don't want to spend the money for the restaurant OR spend too much time up there. The lounge seems like the perfect way to experience it, but we haven't had any luck so far. You'll have to keep us posted on how it goes!

Try a dining reservation finder. I have had great luck snagging ADRs either day before or day of as people start canceling reservations to avoid the no-show fee.

Thank you everyone for your replies.
You’ve given me hope that we may be able to get into this place and check it out.
Thanks again! :smickey:

To those who have been lately .... are you now able to get LOUNGE table at walk up???

When we went you had two options aside from an ADR:

1) Get in line walkup to secure a dining reservation for that day in the RESTAURANT.
2) Get in line walkup to wait in line for a BAR SEAT in the Lounge.

You could NOT get a table in the Lounge, they were ADR only.

The example above of getting a walkup was seated at the bar.

I think for a small group of adults, the lounge is the way to go for Space220. There is a bar menu so you can have some snacks with your cocktails. We had a group of 4 and waited about 25 minutes around noonish. Enjoy! I think you will like it.

Were you sat at the BAR or at a TABLE in the Lounge?

This ☝️Bar seating will allow you to see everything but once you're seated you are looking at the bar and don't have a view unless you turn around. If you're there just for the view and taking it in you will be disappointed.

Lounge ADRs are hard to snag but they would be ideal. It's my understanding you cannot get walk up lounge seating.
