so proud of myself today (ETA)

I am just so very proud of myself
I actually got my ETA for our upcoming cruise this aug

I did all by myself with very few issues
first I couldnt get it to read the scan on the front of the passport
I tried for quite some time so I just hit skip and had to verify everything
then the first pic said it didnt qualify so I tried again and it all went through
now just have to wait for the "OK" email
and to do hubbys when he comes home

Ill do it for him but can I use my phone since I have the app already or do I have to use his phone

it really was as easy as you all said it would be

I just checked my email after I got done posting this and IM clear to go cant believe how fast this was

I'm not sure I'd say proud so much as I think of it as amusing. Heritage is fine and it is a connection to the past, but it has absolutely no connection to the here and now. What we are is a reflection of our own personality and desires. I did a family tree that ran back to the late 1600's before I got board and just stopped at that point. If any member of my family wants to carry it further, it is fine with me, but I don't know what is expected by further inquiry.

I am proud of who I am and know that I am part of a long line of people (like we all are) some good, some bad and some awful. None of that really matters. All it tells you is that a lot of x-rated stuff happened to get to my existence and now it has gone beyond to the next two generations. We are who we are, not what they were or where they came from. Only my opinion, others may vary.

Im confused by your post goofyernmost

I posted Im proud of myself since Im not good with computers but I was able to get my ETA so I can get into the UK on my upcoming cruise
I think many on here know just how bad I am with computers since Im always writing here on how to do things it has nothing to do with heritage
