Snacks and water during HHN

Are you able to bring food -at least snacks- and water into Universal during HHN? The only thing I saw on the 'official' site is that you can't bring food and drinks into the houses, but I'd imagine they mean held in your hands, not contained in a backpack. Frankly, I'm unemployed right now and my daughter won a ticket to HHN, and much as I'd like to give her a chunk of change to play with, I'm hoping she can bring something in so I don't have to give her money to buy (overpriced!) food and beverages.

It is on the uo website food and water allowed in the parks

It lists that water bottles allowed up to
so many liters

Free ice water is given if you request it at the eateries
I did ask for water while I was in the park last week
And they will refill your cup for more water

Food required for medical purpose or any snacks allowed for all

All bags are checked before you enter the park

She is good for taking water and snacks
Could even make a pb&j with her

Only thing you can’t do is heat your food in the park
