What type of tissues do you prefer - regular or lotion?

For Me…..I absolutely dislike tissues with lotion. Luckily, I rarely get sick, so I have no need for them. I always keep one box in the house, with LOTION written on it in black Sharpie, so I know it’s not a regular box of tissues. Last night when I went to get a new box of tissues I saw that the lotion box is the only one left :scared1:. Thank goodness today is my grocery day so I can buy some regular tissues.

*Yes….this ⬇️ picture is kinda weird, but it was the best one for today - LOL!

I use both.

I prefer Kleenex brand over Puffs, but I will buy whatever brand of the two that is on sale. As for lotion versus regular, that comes down to 2 things - what’s left (typically regular goes first when it’s on sale) and if I’m lucky enough to have a choice, the box design. Lol

Always buy regular. I usually stock up with several boxes of Scotties or Kleenex Brand from the Dollar Tree & keep a box at home & one at work close to the window where customers come in. Got tired of all these people coming in with sniffles/runny noses trying to talk to me so the box of tissues has come in handy there. I always try to buy name brand tho cause a couple times when I bought cheap ones they were so full of lint it was like a snow storm everytime I pulled one out of the box.

I get whatever Costco has - but in a pinch I prefer non lotion as sometimes I clean my glasses with them and let’s just say the combo doesn’t work well otherwise I don’t care if they have lotion or not
Yes I know you shouldn’t use tissue etc to clean your glasses but we are talking Walmart readers here / I buy them by the gross 🤣🤣

I buy regular. But a question for those with lotion, do those change over time? Does the lotion aspect/effectiveness of them stay the same if you are storing them for months?

I do not like tissues with lotion..... my lungs don't like anything deodorized and usually lotion is.

I like tissues that are strong. I don't care if they have lotion or not. I just don't want flimsy tissues that shred when used. That's why I usually buy 3-ply tissues.

I usually buy the lotion ones because another family member prefers them, while I don't care either way - as long as they're not uncomfortably scratchy. I think I mostly buy Scotties or Puffs?? - Box design is more important to me than brand, and I love to catch them on sale.

Without lotion, I go through many a day (allergies) have boxes in both bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and all bedrooms (it’s like a funeral home). I also use many a day to clean my readers.

Always lotion free. Used to buy Puffs but they are no longer the softest tissue in my opinion. Now I buy Kleenex or Meijer brand, and always in the large packs of 6-8 boxes. I have a perpetually drippy nose, like my Mother had. I use several tissues every day.

Always with lotion. If I'm sick and using them a lot, my poor nose gets sore without the lotion. I do buy unscented. For the question as to whether time bothers the lotion, no. We always have at least two unopened boxes in the pantry and unless one of us is sick, an opened box can last months. I don't clean my glasses with them, I usually wait too long and mine get so dirty I have to use water and a cloth.

No lotion. I buy them at Costco. We don't go through them very fast

Whatever is available. I just had 2 six packs delivered from target yesterday. No idea if they have lotion or not. I often buy Costco’s though. Not sure if they have a lotion option or not. I am most interested in the design on the box. 😂

I have a box stashed in almost every room—bathrooms, bedrooms, living and family rooms. Also my car and pocket packs in my purse.

We have both ones with lotion/aloe and regular ones. They're both from Costco so a good amount of supply when purchased. At the moment the lotion ones are in the smaller cube boxes with the regular in the larger rectangle boxes so they are easily distinguished from each other.

In recent times I've just kept both next to each other in the main spots. So in the great room, kitchen and master bedroom all have both lotion and regular ones. Main level bathroom just has the regular, office just has the regular.

For the most part I'm totally fine with the regular ones. Only when I've had really bad sinus issues has lotion been very needed otherwise it's more like an added plus. For that reason the lotion last longer in our household despite being much less in quantity in the box. My husband I would say though does gravitate more towards the lotion.
