Do you like Mayo or Miracle Whip on your sandwich, burger and etc?
If yes….Do you like to scoop & spread (jar) or squeeze & squirt (bottle)?
This is your normal routine with this - there’s always exceptions.

For Me……I like to scoop & spread with a knife.
I‘ve bought squeeze bottles before and I end up spreading the Mayo with a knife after I squirt it, so I may as well just buy the jar, not the bottle.

*Inspiration for today’s poll is me spreading Mayo on my DH’s sandwich this morning and having to open a new jar. Made me wonder who likes what in regards to this :scratchin

I’ve tried squeeze bottles but about 10% still remains when “empty” and no amount of reasonable effort can extract it.

So back to jars where 99.9% can be used.

I use both mayo and Miracle Whip.

Scoop and spread most of the time, although my husband will sometimes buy the flavored mayos in the squeeze bottles We prefer Hellman’s or Duke’s mayonnaise- whichever is on sale.

I’m scoop and spread although I probably wouldn’t care either way. The 4 of us are not big mayo people at all. I put in on macaroni salad which I feel like I make somewhat often. I use a lot so I wouldn’t want to squeeze in that case. The last few years if Hellmann’s isn’t on sale I get the store brand because it honestly tastes the same to me and it’s maybe half price. Never tried Dukes but saw it is on sale by me at a local store.

Until this thread I didn’t realize Hellmanns had 2 n in it.

Either one.

I buy Hellman's (or occasionally Duke's) when it's on sale, and sometimes you don't get the choice. If given the option, jar.

Miracle Whip ONLY!! I can’t stand anything else !!! Scoop & spread person here !!! Love my Miracle Whip !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I will buy whatever is on sale. No one in my house eats Mayo except in dips or something like that.

I’m a mayo girl in a Miracle Whip world. In the past I’ve been known to bring a small jar of mayo when staying with family. Best Foods. I have long ago switched to the Olive Oil or Canola Oil version. Jar and a knife, squeeze bottle is too Miracle Whip like. DH has Miracle Whip in a squeeze bottle.

Both jar and squeeze. Jar for needing gobs like cole slaw or tuna salad. Squeeze for sandwich. Mayo, what ever is on sale.

Squeeze. It’s more sanitary, because the spoon or knife double dipping in the jar contaminates the mayonnaise, which then sits in the refrigerator for weeks.

I'm a whatever person. Most importantly, it has to b Hellman's mayo. For the last few weeks, I've been using a squeeze bottle, but next time I need a new jar, I'll get whatever has the lowest unit price.

Whatever is available is fine.

I usually buy the big jars of mayo because it's cheaper, so I spread with a knife. I do have a small squeeze bottle of chipotle mayo, too.

I’ve tried squeeze bottles but about 10% still remains when “empty” and no amount of reasonable effort can extract it.

So back to jars where 99.9% can be used.

I use both mayo and Miracle Whip.
Yes, and the opening is too small to get a spatula down in there. Then there’s the splattering when the bottle is part-way empty and it comes out in globs, not to mention the fart noise. :crazy2:

We rarely use either of these as condiments; almost always just for recipes, so the good, old-fashioned jar that I can measure out of is all I buy.

I don’t typically put mayo on sandwiches; I use other condiments. Mostly use it for tuna salad and other salads, and it’s easier to scoop out a larger quantity from a jar. I buy the light variety of Hellmann’s or the store brand. Never had Miracle Whip.
