Shirt, socks, pants

I wore pants last week because it was gala night on our cruise or I wouldn't be granted entry. That is the 2nd time I wore pants in the past 12 months for the same reason.

Shorts first and then a t-shirt....99.9% of the time. Retired and live in central Florida.

Never paid attention and I would guess it varies. For example, when on vacation I usually hang shirts and pants/shorts on the hanger together. The shirt would come off the hanger first, so I assume I put it on first since there is rarely a place to lay clothes down in a hotel bathroom. At home I take folded clothes into the bathroom to get dressed. Whatever ends up on the top of the stack would get put on first. It could be the shirt, it could be the pants.

I find it interesting that so many people are putting on socks before pants. Socks would be absolutely last for me because I only wear them if I am putting on shoes to go outside. I wear Crocs around the house, with no socks, so on days when I am at home all day I would not wear socks at all.

If wearing a shirt that is going to be worn outside the pants, then the pants first. If shirt is going to be tucked in, shirt first.

PANTS ON 1ST.
I lay all my clothes out on the bed, shower and then put on my Mickey Mouse bedshirt . I keep that hanging in my bathroom for that one purpose only. After teeth brushing, moisturizing, I get the bottom half of me dressed. I can spend over an hour doing simple chores before I finish getting dressed.

Pants on first mostly (warmer weather), shirt on first occasionally in the colder months.

Pants on first 100 percent of the time. Shirt would get in the way of the pants.

LOL. Shirt on first 100 % of the time, because I tuck my shirt in, so I would have to undo my pants if I put them on first.

I would say usually pants first. But there are times, such as hot weather, when I stall putting on a shirt so pants/shorts can be it for a while.

I said 50:50 because I don't really know. Undies and socks first, then??? If it's a tuck-in shirt, it goes on first. If it's a sweater or jersey or doesn't tuck in, pants first... UNLESS it's cold in the bedroom, in which case the shirt goes on asap!

Well, have to put the underwear on first, so pants are the next logical step. And I am often just picking yesterday's leggings up off the floor and pulling them on. Unless I am going out I don't bother with a bra, so throw on a shirt last (I never ever tuck a shirt in!) Then a 2nd layer like a flannel shirt because it is cold in the house!

Socks can be either before or after either scenario.
