Hey there! I"m writing a Disney history book and stumbled upon this little gem: The old WDW STOLPort runway would play When You Wish Upon a Star when you went at just the right speed! Does anyone have audio/video of the runway actually singing? I just can't quite figure out how it worked.

I've heard that, but I'm sorry I can't remember WHERE I read it.

I believe it had something to do with the depth of grooves carved into the surface that caused the wheels to produce different notes.
Much like driving over the "stay-awake" bar carved into the edges of the interstate in some areas.
