I am going in July and we have tickets for the Blue Man Group (front row center) :yay: :woohoo: :cool1: :cheer2:

But I'm wondering if someone could tell me where the show is going to be held? I've only been to Universal twice and have never seen a show like this before. I'm trying to plan out (timewise) some things and need to know where the show will be. We'd like to eat at Hard Rock Cafe around 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner and then the show is at 6:00pm. How far is HRC from the theater?

PLUS....I've never been to IOA and we have a 1 day/2 park ticket. If we just hit the big attractions how much can we possibly see between the two parks along with doing the show and HRC?

How long does it take to walk from one park to another?

We have tickets for BMG in August, looking forward to it! I think that they are in the old Nickelodeon building at US. I posted a few days ago stating I was watching that building turning "blue" on the webcam:

I think they're preparing it for the show. Anyway, the parks are only a few minutes apart by foot and Hard Rock Cafe is in the middle of them, so timing should be no problem. Actually, I believe HRC and BMG will be right next to each other from what I remember.

Sounds like you're packing a lot into one day, but you probably could do it being that everything is so close together, as long as you don't want to do everything at both parks.

The BMG building is right behind Hard Rock Cafe so you couldn't be closer.

Works out great then. We haven't been to Universal in about 6 years so it'll be nice to check things out again. The last time our boys were only 4-5 and now they're 10-11, so we won't be doing the little kid rides, but I would like to see the major things atleast.

We will be there from opening until about 3 (that's when lunch will be) the the BMG at 6. (I think I heard that is a 1 1/2 hr show) so after that is done we might take a walk over to IOA and check that out for a couple hours (never been there)

Are there any MUST SEES at either park?

I hope they do the bathrooms like they are at the theater where BMG performs in Chicago. When you go, listen and see if they pipe in their bathroom song. It's a riot.

Gonna be tough to do all that you really need to do in one day. My personal suggestions: UO- Men in Black, Back to the Future, T3. IOA- Spidey, Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Ripshaw Falls (weather permitting).

There is so much to see and do.. but I would say these are the must dos!!!

Good luck and have a great time!!!

I think the Revenge of the Mummy is a must do as is Jurassic Park River Adventure.

I agree about Mummy...I would give up Back to the Future for Mummy in a heartbeat if my time were limited.
