Hi All!
This is my first time posting. So don’t come for me. Lol. I would like to think of myself as someone who knows the Ins and outs of Disney. But this one has be stumped. The last two years my family and I have gone to Saratoga springs in august, we were able to get a 1 bedroom both times during the “summer deals” for $280-$300 a night I can’t remember 2023 rates but for 2024, it was $283 a night. And I was so excited this year for the deals. Because this is the only way we can stay in a one bedroom the past two years because it was so affordable. Since we have been opened to the one bedroom life. We can’t go back 😂we have done beach club and pop this past year and we just felt so cramped. Anyways! To my surprise, I went to book a week In august, we are flexible for the
Month. Plugged in different date combos and $444-$470 a night. can someone please explain why the price jacked up so much? I mean I know it’s Disney, I get it. But what’s the rationale? are more people staying at Saratoga? Any insight would be awesome.
Best!

You must have been really lucky and good at finding discounts! I've never seen a SSR 1BR for less than $300 a night unless it was a confirmed reservation through a broker. I don't think I've ever seen a studio for that rate through Disney! That's less than some moderates! I think $444 is a great rate for a 1BR.

This is 2025 Rack Rates for Saratoga, including taxes.

Blue circle is 1BR Standard, Red circle is 1BR Preferred.

Pretty much the best offer never exceeds 40% off.

A weeknight in Standard View late Aug is $657, or about $575 before tax. If you got a deal for 35% off, that would be $350/nt (and just under $400/nt after tax).

I can see just under $400, but not $280 for a 1BR! Rates for last year weren't all that much lower. With current stay more and save offers, a 1BR standard mid August (no weekend nights) is $409 before taxes. So about $460 with tax. I don't think that's bad at all! A studio was just under $300 before tax. And I like that rate chart, where did you find it?

Mousesavers. Props to them as they’ve been doing this a long time!

I’ve even used the wayback machine to find rates years ago

Change the year in the web address and there should be a few snapshots from that year.

We did Free Dining in a DVC 1BR one year. The room was $550/nt and DDP for the 4 of us (adults) was $300/nt value. That was back in 2018 or 2019. Made that 1BR ‘feel’ like $250/nt.

Thank you everyone! I just looked back on my reciept. I think I got like a fluke thing when I booked. That’s with 2 park days for 2 adults and 1 child. No park hopper. I appreciate everyone’s time!!
