Sailing with others and are connected question

Have not sailed with others before, we have connecting rooms and have the reservations connected. My question is when I go into my DCL account and see my DD and her husband’s
cruise under ours, what will I see if I click on VIEW?? Do I need their login info, will they know if I look at it?? We haven’t paid ours in full yet, I can see that they have before clicking on view.

You don't need their login info. You will see the same information for their cruise as you do for your own. They will not know if you've viewed their cruise information.

We have two upcoming cruises that are linked with another stateroom. Any details that I can see for my stateroom, I see the same information if I select theirs. Since they are linked, we can also book activities (spa, adult dining, excursions, etc.) for everyone as a group.

So I have another question, if I call DCL for a special request that you can not do online,( certain dining rotation) does it show just on DCL end or will I be able to view it when I log into my account?? Trying to keep some things secret from my daughter since we are linked.
Yes I do know that special requests are not guaranteed.

Yes I do know that special requests are not guaranteed.

That doesn’t show on the DCL app. You just get an email confirmation from DCL they’ve submitted the request for you.

Thanks, so the email would just be sent to me?? If the email is generic and just says request I guess if it went to both of us it won’t matter or I can maybe specify when I call. Sorry I’m overthinking this cruise way too much, normally sail just husband and I. This whole linked thing is throwing me a curveball.

Oops I misread, I normally email them for special requests and they just email me back.

I’m not sure if you get an email if you do it over the phone.

Oh, I really hate calling and didn’t even think about emailing the request. I assume this email address is easy to find on the website. Thanks for the quick replies and sorry to be such a bother.
