Just wondering what this means. Been a member since 1996 and never heard of this. I'm looking at a BW reservation and was told there is an amount payable to the resort as this was made with "expired banked credit" Thanks

There is no resort fee for usage of DVC points, banked or not, so I'm assuming you are looking at a Reservation for Rent on a site other than the DIS? It sounds like this is actually a trade reservation made through Interval International and is not one that should be rented at all under the rules of the trade company. To my knowledge, the only resort fees charged to DVC Point reservations by DVC members and their guests is the Hawaiian state "Transient tax" at Aulani.

Correct, not from the DIS. From Facebook. Thanks for the information. Found out it is RCI.

I'd be very leery of paying for this reservation. For one thing, RCI exchange reservations, same as II reservations, are not allowed to be rented and can be cancelled without notice if RCI or the resort finds out. For another thing, DVC hasn't been with RCI for well over a year, and it appears that DVC is no longer offering exchanges through RCI, only through II.

I agree. I declined it. Thank you!
