If you have stayed at POP century (or just know) what are some of the better rooms/sections?

Your question would receive quite a variety of answers because what is one guest liking can be completely different for another.

Perhaps have a look at the Unofficial POP Century Resort faqs thread and you will find loads of helpful info on the very first page, including maps of the resort and each building, how far to the Lobby/FoodCourt/buses from various bldgs etc. You can also search the thread for info.

Enjoy!

Find a map of the resort and decide what's best for you based on what you want. You can find which areas are preferred and what's closer to what you want. We are flying this time instead of driving so we don't need close to the parking lot. Noise doesn't bother us so I like ground floor near a pool. we have stayed in the 70's and 80's and never put in advanced requests. We love pop Century.

Maps can be found in the link posted above.:thumbsup2

the link was very helpful. We are looking for a room to over look the lake/lagoon and possibly see fireworks.

Thanks for the info/website.

If hoping to see EPCOT IllumiNations, you can see the top quite well from some rooms from about the middle of bldg 3 (4th floor rooms 3432-3436), As well as stepping outside your room from rooms 3413 and the rest along that row of rooms. Bldg 3 is also convenient to the Lobby etc (maybe 5 or less mins tops) and very peaceful on the lake side (which is where those room would be located).

You can request a 4th floor room with fireworks view and ask again at check-in - some CM's are more knowledgeable than others, so you might want to have several room numbers written down so you ask them to check if any of those rooms are available.

Glad the link was helpful! :)

(p.s. We were in room 3435 in Feb 2007 and could also see MK fireworks in the distance - one night we watched both IllumiNations and WISHES at the same time, standing by the railing outside our room.:thumbsup2 We had room 3413 in Dec 2004 and in January 2004 had a 4th floor room in bldg 2, but pretty sure those rooms are blocked by trees now)
