Platinum lanyards?

A few weeks back someone posted pix of supposedly new black Platinum Castaway Club lanyards. Are these back, or was that someone who made/bought their own? Anyone see anything new recently?

Where did you see this? Would like to know this, too. Even guest services were getting confused and handing out silver lanyards to platinum cruisers when the new ones first came out. We had to get our son’s replaced after someone stole his.

I was on the Wish two weeks ago and they were still fully blue.

I also saw that picture a few days before I boarded and was so excited for the black but alas, another blue one.

They do have new lanyards but I think some ships are trying to use their existing stock first. We just came back from a B2B cruise on the Wish (10/4) and the Magic (10/7). We received the blue ones on the Wish and the new black ones on the Magic. It’s a really nice change because I hated the blue ones.

We had the new black ones on the October 5th Fantasy sailing.

I hope the Dream has them in November! It’s our last sailing as Platinum and I would love to get them.

Finally as even after many cruises I could never tell silver from platinum.... We are gold still so cant miss that one..

I'm excited! We're on our 10th cruise in December, so we'll be platinum on the Treasure next year. I was just telling DH that I missed the black lanyards, I thought they were sharp!

So just the lanyard part changed to black, and the card holder is the same light blue?

Only on the Fantasy they are black..,we got one but just got off second cruise on Wish they are still light green gray but are the new one with Mickey instead of the waves.

I asked about black and they said no it’s this one. You can tell the silver because they are definitely gray. Pearl is white.

Oh there is a different pirate scarf too they are bigger. This was on Wish and Fantasy

We received the new baby blue lanyards on our Norwegian Fjord/Iceland cruise this past July/August. We didn't like them at all, but we did receive the larger Pirate bandana. I hope all the ships have the newer Platinum in 2025 for our next cruise.

These ones are being given out on the Wonder as well, we got them last week.

Looking forward to those next year. The current ones are awful and I can never tell if they are blue or silver.

The silver on the Wish are darker grey and Pearl is white so you can’t mix them up.

The Wish seems to be the outlier, the Magic and Fantasy have the black ones that I’ve seen. I wonder if the Wish doesn’t have a ton of Platinums to get through their current stock. Anyone been on the Dream who can report back?

They were mistaken telling you gray and blue are new, assuming you meant to say that. Black are indeed the new ones, confirm we had them on the fantasy recently as well.
