Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Day 4 at Magic Kingdom-Early Entry is best. Before our first LLMP we-walked onto Seven Dwarves Mine train, Winnie the Pooh, Tea Cups, It's a Small World, and Mickey's Philhar Magic. Our LLMP got us onto Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and Monsters' Inc. We then went back to the hotel to rest. LLMP was definitely useful. We managed to do all of this by 1:00. We also have Lightning Lanes for later this evening.

Honestly, if you can afford it, I would get LL for all of the parks. It's nice not to wait. If you want to be more conservative with your cash, I would say-get LL for Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.

you can only buy LLMP or single pass via MDE app correct? you can't do via desktop and make your selections there, correct?

Also, is character meet and greet included on LLMP like it was with genie plus?

Correct only on the MDE app. And Character Meet & Greets are not available for LLMP and/or LLSP or LLPP.

Quick question on LLMP, when you have 3 rides reserved for later in the day and you don't have options to modify them to earlier times. Are you then locked out from reserving another Lightning Lane or can you get a 4th LLMP if you wait a 2 hour window, like you had the ability with Genie Plus?

Locked out. You can not hold 4 LLs. Only way that happens is if one your rides goes down and turns into a day pass, then you can book another LL.

Just to help you and others reading along the Genie+ 2 hour rule is not longer available. You can not use the old 2 hour rule to stack additional LLMP attractions. Through the normal process you are able to have a rolling selection of 3 LLMP selections. @gottalovepluto cover the case where your selection is down, and you are issues an Multi Experience pass.

Many guests chose to book an earlier available LLMP attraction in the same park as your other 2 selections so that they can unlock LLMP Tiers and Multi Park booking for park hopper tickets. Yes you do need to tap in to the park and your LLMP selection, unlike the Genie+ where you could just let your initial selection expire and book another one.

We are staying on property and I purchased LLMP for our AK and MK days. Unfortunately, even though I purchased 5 days beforehand, the earliest times available for POTC was 12:50pm. We are arriving at the park around 11am (we have an appt. that morning with DVC). The other 2 selections are after POTC but for all of them, that was the earliest I could get. My question is, once we enter the park, is it possible we will be able to get an earlier time for one of our picks? (POTC 12:50, HM-2:55pm, Tiana's 5:15pm.). If we are late for one of our LL because we have a dining reservation, is that usually a problem? Thanks for any advice. We are going to MK this coming Tuesday!

Yes, it's easy to modify but from my experience the return times just keep getting later. If you want later times you can find them but hard to find earlier times. I am hoping once we enter the park, maybe some earlier times will open up? Hoping someone knows if earlier times open up sometimes on the day of admission.

Yes you may try even before you actually enter the park but depending on LLMP return time availability there may be no open times to modify to earlier return times. If you try to Modify start with your POTC to Modify it to an earlier time.

Do you happen to have you DVC visit listed on your My Day Itinerary? Things on your My Day Itinerary might actually block early return times.

Yes, but we are going from 9:30am-10:30am, so I am hoping for a time around 11am instead of almost 1pm. I already bought the LLMP, so I hope it's worth it.
