Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

My apologies if this has already been asked but did anyone else booking for New Year's week not having Living with the Land as an option? It wouldn't show up for multiple days for me this morning.

Not sure exactly what dates you're looking at, but do you think it's when they're pulling it down to remove the holiday lighting?

I booked this morning for my trip, and our Epcot day is our very first park day (Dec. 30.) I was able to book LWTL for this day. Perhaps this is its last day of operation?

Thank you to everyone who provides information in this thread! I spent so much time reading it these past few months, and everything went smoothly this morning.

I really like all of my times except my Epcot day on Dec. 30. This is our very first park day, so times were already pretty picked over. I got two of them at times close to what we need/want. Is it fairly easy to switch them around if I wake up early on that day? I want to switch Spaceship Earth to a time that wasn’t available.

Were you looking for Glimmering Greenhouses? I believe it shows up as a different attraction from the standard LWTL.

You can try to switch your times but being a busier time of year it might be more challenging. It’s always worth trying though.

Yes Dec. 30th is the last day with the Glittering Greenhouses Overlay version of LWTL

Correct there are 2 completely attraction listings LWTL and LWTL - Glittering Greenhouses, and only 1 shows at a time.

That's a great suggestion, thank you! But no version of it is showing up.
LWTL - Glittering Greenhouses shows through Dec. 30th and the regular version returns on Dec. 31. Please take another look to confirm.

Yep, have looked over multiple days all day today and have even contacted Disney. It’s not there in any form and is not closed. Must be a technical error which is why I wanted to check if others had it. No big deal, I’ll move on without it. Thank you all.

Is it ok if we show up 30 min to 1 hour late for a lightning lane multipass? I have overlapping plans like Tron 9:45-10:45, Dumbo 10:10-10:50, Under the Sea 10:30-10:45, Peter Pan 11:10-12:10, Tiana’s 11:30-12:30 and am a little worried if we start running behind with young kids.

Your overlapping plans include 4 LLMPs, including two Tier 1s*; that isn't allowed. Also, the time periods for Dumbo and Under the Sea would each be an hour long. So, I guess we are only talking about a hypothetical situation. If you actually had those five start times, I was going to suggest moving one of the middle times (such as Under the Sea at 10:30) to a later time. Under the Sea and Dumbo should be readily available at later times.

I would recommend not scheduling your rides too close together. But if you ever do wind up in a situation where it is 30-60 minutes after the LLMP expiration time, I suggest going to the attraction and trying to tap in. Some people have gotten green lights at the tapstile when that late, although you can't necessarily count on it. I remember an Earscouts video where Rob said he asked a cast member how long the grace period was and he was basically told "it depends." But even if you get a blue light, and it becomes a question of cast member discretion, having delays caused by young kids is often treated as a reasonable excuse.

* - I realize Tiana's could be a VQ instead of an LLMP. But you wouldn't have a definite return period until your boarding group was called. And I believe there is more flexibility for being late to a VQ than for the LLMP of the same ride.

I'm hoping I'll be able to book some LL's for a split stay between the Swan and Poly tomorrow morning? I have the Swan linked to my MDE. I'm really only looking to pick up some for MK at the end of our trip. :thumbsup2

Please let us know how it goes. I don't think anyone has yet reported if a split stay between a Disney-owned resort and an "other select hotels" (i.e. one with 7-days-before booking privileges) works as smoothly as when staying at two Disney-owned resorts.

I will! :-)

I just couldn't see spending like $2000 to stay at the Poly for the first two nights when I could get the Swan for $1000. ;);)

Any idea how these work after you have purchased your first three? Like am I allowed to buy an individual ride from the second tier? If so, at what time during the day or is it after I use my first multi-pass?

I assume you are asking about LLMP (not LLSP or LLPP). You only buy LLMP once for each park day. You buy it for the first park that you are going to use it at that day. Once you use (i.e. tap in to) your first LLMP reservation that day, you can book another LLMP reservation to replace it, subject to availability. You are allowed to have three unexpired LLMP reservations at a time. Before you tap in to your first one, only one of those three can be a Tier 1 and all of them must be in the park you purchased LLMP for. Once you tap in to your first one, the tier restrictions go away, as do the park restrictions if your ticket allows park hopping. You do not have to pay extra to book that fourth or subsequent LLMP reservation. In theory, you can ride every LLMP ride in all four parks for the LLMP price you paid. (As a practical matter, I doubt it can be done. Not enough time.) You only get one LLMP reservation per attraction. No repeats. Attractions that are available on LLMP are not sold separately. You buy LLMP by date and park. You buy LLSP by date and attraction. None of the LLSP attractions are available on LLMP and vice versa.
