Pictures of our 2br Savanna View at Kidani Village

We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom Savanna View on the Kidani Village side the end of July. I took these pictures before our bags were brought in and before the rest of the gang came in.

Thanks for the post. We are booked in a 2 bedroom savannah view for Dec. and can't wait. I have stayed at most of the deluxe resorts many times and I am so glad we bought DVC at AK. Our first visit to our "home" was in May of '08, and I knew we had made the right decision for our family. Nothing beats coffee in the am on that balcony with the animals grazing below you. It just takes you away from all your stress and problems!

We loved staying at AKV Kidani. It was just gorgeous. It was a great time.

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. We are taking our first trip home to AKV next fall. I can't wait! We go to WDW every other year, and we used developer's points to stay at SSR last fall. I am making my reservations in 2 weeks. The dedicated 2 BR (savanna view) is what we are thinking about reserving. We had originally thought about doing the 1 BR, but I would love for my kids to have their own beds (not the pull out sofa and sleeper chair). I feel like I'm being way too extravagant, but with going every other year, I feel like I'm entitled to. BTW, where was your room located? We are wanting to be close to the pool and lobby, as long as there is not a lot of noise. That's one must--a quiet location!

We loved our location. I need to see if I kept something with room number on it. However..we asked for the lobby floor which is the 2nd but really the first floor for rooms....because the parking garage is underneath. We were not too far far down from the game room/laundry room/community hall and the cozy room where the fireplace was. It was a short walk to the lobby. It was a great location..oh and not too far from the door that leads out to the bus stops. I just requested to be on the lobby level close to the lobby or something like that. It was absolutely PERFECT.

I actully took more pictures than I posted OF COURSE. I took pictures of the detailed artwork in the villas like on the walls in the shower and over the tub, the carved lions heads (like simbas) on the master bed headboard. I also have that other thread too on here with the pictures of the animals. I took a zillion of the animals. I just posted a few. It was such a wonderful experience staying there and as soon as we got there we had wished we had stayed 4 nights there. Instead we stayed 2 nights at Poly (dd request) then 5 at BCV and 2 at AKV. We should have done 5 BCV and 4 AKV Kidani.

we'll be there in January with a dedicated 2 bedroom. I can't wait. I am kind of disappointed that the room is not as African themed as Jambo is. It is definately much brighter but I will miss the awesome curtains and painting and things like that.

Us too! Dedicated 2 bedroom savannah view for part of our Jan. trip, then onto the BWV! WOO HOO, can't wait!
