Testing side by side raw file image quality of the Sony A7riii vs the Sony A6300.... is full frame worth the difference?

https://enthusiastphotoblog.com/2018/07/20/aps-c-vs-full-frame-raw-files/

Full image comparisons in the link above. I've shot full frame for years, always feeling like I was getting better image quality. This was my first time really trying to examine side by side. I was playing with mid-ISO files (ISO 2000-4000) mostly.. I was processing raw files, some extensively. The results were closer than I expected but there benefits of full frame were still real, in almost every head to head comparison.

So I attended Sony's "Be Alpha" launch event in Brooklyn... Fantastic with a dozen models, lighting set ups, photo walks by leading pros. Camera equipment to borrow -- So I took out a Sony A9 and 70-200 f/2.8 GM lens for the day. Sony gave me a memory card to use.... I return the camera at the end of the day, keep the memory card. Stick it into my A7r3 just to review the images... and after a couple minutes... it blacks out. Get home, the card is totally unreadable. So it seems I lost about a thousand images... I guess I should be thankful they weren't images for a client. I was doing some shooting with my A7r3 and 35mm lens, so I do have a few good shots. Fortuitously, I had also wifi transferred some of my images from the A9, but they are just 1-2 mp jpegs.
