What is the best way to pack princess dresses to avoid wrinkles & take the least amount of space?

I've heard some people use those vacuum packing bags. When DD was in full princess mode, I just put them on top after I packed everything else, with the bottom folded under to fit the suitcase with a sheet of white tissue paper under and over them (and between them if there was more than one which there usually was) and then I shoved the suitcase lid down on them. At the resort, I just hung them up in the bathroom and turned the shower on hot to steam any wrinkles out. We usually had the Disney Store or Parks versions and those really did not wrinkled that much even is they were crammed into the suitcase. Other people may have better ways to pack them, but that worked for us.

We just put them in a garment bag in the separate pocket of the suitcase. We have no issues. I had 8 (size 5 and smaller) dresses in one suitcase last time. No major wrinkles.

My daughters are all Disney Store as well except her new Cinderella dress which I purchased at JCPenney but it appears to be as nice of quality as the Disney store ones. I wanted the Ella dress and the Disney store one was very expensive.

Don't worry about wrinkles, IMO. After fifteen minutes in the heat and humidity, all packing wrinkles will be gone. :)

We pack ours in gallon zip lock bags. This way you don't end up with glitter on everything in the suitcase and it gives you a safe way to transport the dress back to the resort in case DD gets tired of wearing it mid way through the day.

We used the gallon size bags, keeps all stuff together (added accessories to bags) and keeps our other clothes from getting covered in glitter. We just hung up when we got to hotel, no problem.

Same as above ^^^ We pack them in a gallon zip lock bag, and last time I didn't even hang them up. They stayed in the bag labeled by which day they would be worn to make getting ready in the morong super easy.

for more "fragile" dresses, I roll them up in tissue paper, and that prevents more wrinkles. I made tutu dresses this time and they are very forgiving, so I twisted them tightly into gallon zip locs and did a test--- left them in for a week and they came out looking fine!

I used space bags. The kind where you push the air out, no vacuum needed.

Ours were knockoffs/handmade and very...poofy. We couldn't have done it without the space bags. I didn't notice wrinkles, but my daughter wouldnt have cared.

I used the oversized 2 gallon bags and stuffed all the dresses in and pressed out excess air. I don't even bother hanging them up usually. Wrinkles weren't too bad and gone by the time we got to the parks.
