After hearing that OTU points have not always been available for sale, when did this begin?

What has the price history been?

Seeing the less than 25 point contract on resale opened this discussion.

We buy OTU points almost every year for a few points.

I think it was 2016 and they started at $15/point.

I have kept track since I have needed them a few years.
2016 - $15
2017 - $17
2018 - $19
2019 - 2022 (don’t have data but guessing $20 for most of that time)
2023 - $20 (and briefly they went up to $22)
2024 - $20

We bought dvc in 2021 and have bought a handful every year instead of borrowing.

Have another data point: in Oct 2020 (for a stay in May 2021), they were $19/pt.
