My daughter seems to have trouble with her undies "bugging" her. I spoke with her pediatrician because I was afraid it was a sensory issue but at this point he doesn't think it is. In an attempt to get through this battle I was wondering if they make a type of seamless underpants for a 5 year old?

hannah anderssen makes the most comfortable kids underwear on the market. My kids won't wear anything else.

I don't know of any seamless underwear for little girls... But could it be that she's "leaking" before she makes it to the restroom, so they are damp and irritating her? Not sure if this is "appropriate" for the dis, but may be letting her go underwearless at bed time will help. Neither of my DDs wore underwear to bed as soon as they were potty trained so they had a chance to "air out." TMI, I know, sorry!;)

Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it and will give it a try. One question, does Hanna Andersson have sales or promo codes ever?

Another vote for hanna andersson! Sometimes they have sales but not that often. Yes the underwear is pricey but it LASTS! DD typically gets 2 years out of her hannas before she needs a larger size. They are then passed down through 3 cousins. They do not wear out, shrink or fade.

thanks for the info., do you find they run true to size? Do you prefer the fit of the classic cut or the hipster?

My dd prefers the briefs. She does not like bikini type underwear. She also does not like anything tight at all. She is 5 ft tall and weighes 87 pounds. She should wear a size L but because she likes everything loose- I buy her size XL.

My dd wears Hanna Andersson as well. They are organic and super comfy. No riding, no bugging and dd has some mild sensory issues. We buy the classic, not the hipster, which can ride a itty bit. They do sometimes go on sale, though not very often.
Op, where do you live? We used to get ours at a HA outlet. They are often $10/pk there. Actually, if you don't live near an outlet, you can call and they will ship them to you, you'll just have to pay shipping. :thumbsup2

Awesome tip, there is an outlet about 1 1/2 hr. away, I'll have to call and see if they have any in her size. I was thinking the classic look very boxy but it sounds like thats the choice here so maybe I will start with those.

My dd has been wearing medium classic unders since she turned 5, she's 5.8 now. She is tall and also wears 120's. She is very "hippy", so I think that is why she was in a medium sooner than the sizing said. My ds is 7.5 and he wears medium in the boys boxer briefs and wears 130's. He's been in the medium *forever*. He is a skin flint. LOL I would probably go mostly by the height to pick sizing.

Heehee, they are a bit boxy...think grandma underwear for girls, but they really are comfy, the seams are serged completely flat and they are tagless. :)

Here is a tip that we have always done for dd with her hannas... because they are tagless and quite boxy, I take a sharpie marker and put an X on the back waistband. That way she always knows which way to put them on.

...and the Hanna Andersson undershirts are just as wonderful!

Hanna Andersson, for sure! They are the only thing my daughter will wear too, and she has "issues" with all clothing in general. They are expensive, but worth it, and they wash and wear well.

Hanna Andersson has 2 types of underwear. There are the regular ones, and then the others are hipsters. We get the hipsters, because the brief type are now made very tight in the leg openings. My daughter is skinny, but those briefy ones were always too tight in the leg openings once they changed the way the cut them.

I have heard good things about Hanes Comfort Soft. Don't know if you can find it locally, but it is $10 for 3 pairs. Looks like size 6 is the smallest.

There is also this, which also says tagless and is $6.50 for 3 pairs.

If it were me, I would try a package or two of the hanes first, as it is cheaper. You can also google for any hanes coupons.

I would try these first also. There is NO elastic around the legs, and I've seen them at Walmart for the same price as all of the other packages of underpants.

My girls have a lot of underwear, and I have to second hipsters. They both still wear a small, and have FOR YEARS, and they hold up well. They've tried different brands in this style, and all have worked out. They also wear bikinis, but I find a lot more hipsters in the hamper. They won't wear briefs - like minimal amount of material - opposite of the boys, who only wear boxers.
